These are a nice idea. Like villains, they are very smart... but they lack wisdom. I knew the owner of Brifield (bry-field he pronounced it and it's been sold to another company). The cuffs are cool from a lockpickers toy perspective but I would not want to use them in any occupational security context. they feel like they are made from the same soft aluminium as Kyung Chang and Alcyon, so they are easy to cut and damage and simply smacking them in a "Whack-attack" will probably bend the double strand to create the issue you saw with them pulling open when single locked because the bow teeth are not quite reaching the pawl teeth adequately. Over all, they are a technically nice and secure design, but poorly executed. If they were all steel cuffs they would be really nice.

That set was returned. Looked like a problem with the bow. The teeth where cut deeper into the material than the otherside. And not quite straight. So you could slide so far then it would catch. New set work great tho

I was able to defeat these with just a piece of wire and the deadlock.And I molded a key with the replicant.
