Beautifully explained! Thank you for not wasting time by going down long rabbit holes of monologs 🙏

Great video, thorough and concise but not overdone. Great lighting and sound quality as well. I can now go into my backsplash almost fearless lol

This video was exactly what I was looking for. Right to the point, and easy to follow, with good examples. Thanks! I'm ready to install my Aspect stone tiles with a bit more confidence now.

This is their best installation video I have ever seen especially on how to cut out receptacle and butting factory cuts. Please do a video on those already jagged cut titles that look like bricks by DIP. (I know you do Aspect)

I found, that while they say you don't need a tile cutting saw, it can come in very handy especially in the situation of making length-wise cuts where just trying to remove a fraction of an inch off the edge of the piece. This is very hard to do with snip but very simple with a tile cutting saw.

am i over thinking this? how to you get the corners "interior" to fit tight if the tile is textured?

Really easy to install!! but the next day i made waffles and used a cooking spray without thinking about it getting on the tile...well now its stained:( im hoping after putting a sealer on the tiles the stains will blend in to it being darkened. I really liked the light look of the medley tiles but will have to seal the tile and darken them

Bought the aspect metal subway tiles, there is a slight difference in color in the batches. Is that meant to be and is there a certain method of laying them out so it doesn't stick out?

When I installed mine there were some areas that were not perfectly butt up to each other. In those areas you could see the white between the tiles. Once the tiles are stuck, they are STUCK. No way to make an adjustment. To hide the white I squished some clear silicone in the gap and whiped of the excess. It went on white but dries clear.

A fine black magic marker works for this as well. The white wall behind it really sticks out if the seams are not perfect. In hind site it may have been better to use a dark primer over the wall first.

Take a tiny paint brush and paint a dark color in between the cracks will help hide the imperfections

As long as the panels don't exceed 140 degrees F. See our FAQs: dumawall-us.com/faq/. "Installation within 6 inches of a stove is not recommended either. DumaWall should be installed in temperatures between 40 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit (4 and 43 degrees Celsius)."

Nice video but the utility knife does not slice right through. It took a mighty effort, poking the tip through every couple of millimeters, then the chisel (which sometimes didn't work, either). I have 7 switches and outlets to do. I've only done two and I'm ready to give up.

Hi there! I just bought Aspect tiles for my backsplash today- here's my question: I have standard depth outlets and covers on the backsplash I plan to tile- when I take the face plate off and add the Aspect, is it going to mess with the depth of the plugins? Does the aspect go under the edges of the face plate, or line up with them exactly? Thanks!

You can cut out for outlets around the electric receptacle itself and go under your outlet covers. The tiles are thin enough that there should be no problems.
@dannewlon58256 жыл бұрын
I found when I installed it I needed to use some standoffs under the outlets to bring them out about 1/3 of an inch. Without doing this my wall switch was difficult to reach.

Nice product. However, the Raised Titanium backsplash does NOT cut with snips, the product is way to thick. I had to purchase a jig saw just to cut this product. Update: the jig saw did not cut this tile. I burned through a blade with a single cut. Had to purchase a wet saw. The wet saw did finaly work.
