Thank you Mango. There is a great 'cook book' on aspects by Robert Pelletier, titled 'Planets in aspects'. In a cook book you are given the interpretation of the various aspect without really explaining the reasoning behind them.

semi square is a mild aspect of irritation or conflict. semi sextile is a mild aspect which is hardly felt at all.

Wow! This was very good! So concise! I'm still wondering what's Suzy to do? I could see a real life situation where one parent gets sick only at inopportune times and there being resentment especially if one of the two elders soon passed on. What if there was only a deep connection with one of the parents but a deep urge of duty? Basically a Paradoxical situation that could be alleviated but not totally resolved. I really liked this video.

This is just what I needed ! A question:I have Pluto,Jupiter,Venus and North Node in Scorpio.. what does it really mean to have 4 conj in a sign? Pluto is 28degrees...

inconjunct or quincunx delineates chronic influences which have to be adjusted to and cannot really be reconciled. With the 1st and 6th house indicates health issues. I dont agree that is an an expansive aspect.

There's always positive AND negative to any placement so you are mistaken.

I think of a sextile as meeting a new person, getting to know that person, perhaps finding some common ground (such as astrology, tennis, the theatre, etc.) and then deciding that it might be worth the effort to 'expand' the relationship by engaging in one of the activities above.

I have to agree with the first part of your statement. It has been my philosophy that it's not important what life brings to me (positive or negative, which are personal judgments) but it is very important how I react to it. To use the corny, old example: When life brings me a lemon, I make lemonade :) Please, tell me where I am mistaken.

Inconjunction/Quincunx are not easy aspects my friend! They are difficult/hard aspects.
