In the Western chart, the signs should be going counter-clockwise around the chart, according to the houses they rule; i.e., Aries 1st house, Taurus 2nd house, Gemini 3rd house, etc. Basic.

Based on Cancer ascendant, you should have explained whether Saturn is functionally malefic or functionally benefic planet and its aspect will be good or bad.

This is general opinion that saturn give restrictions. But, depends upon ownership of House it defers. If Saturn is owner of first, five or 9 the house, then its aspections give very good results

Don't use the complicated circular chart - which naturally geometrically relates to the polygonal angles\"aspects", where you can see all of them at a glance ― instead - use this strange diagonal matrix, where you don't actually see the angles, or degrees etc; that's much easier.

Only, very small observations pl. for Mr. Kapiel Raaj as below: a). while showing examples, Mercury position is shown 4 houses away from Sun, which in actual practice can not be more than 27/28 degrees away from Sun ( i.e, at the maximum, Mercury can be only one house away from Sun) b). On an average, it takes 2.0 hours for the Ascendent to move to another house and not 2.5 hours as mentioned from time to time in the Video. ( Although it may vary from 1.20 hrs to 2.75 hrs for Ascendent to move depending upon the location) S P Goel

Just one curious observation. In the western circle charts, the houses don't line up perfectly with the zodiac signs. In other words they over lap a little. Like my Rising is 4 degrees Sagittarius. My 2nd house is half way in between Capricorn and Aquarius. How do you remedy that with the Vedic system?

Western astrologers just turn the chart on its left side so you can see where everything is, makes it easier to compare. The diamonds are like the angular houses since they’re naturally ruled by cardinal signs. When it comes to the numbers over different houses think an aries rising chart. Sun is not always in the 1st house or not as an ASC. Moon sign means our mother, motherland, thoughts, mind, ideas, home, etc. The origin lord sign of Moon is Cancer.

My saturn in my 7th quincunx's my sun in my 1st, and sextiles my neptune in my 5th. It actually creates a yod pointing towards my sun sign. How would you decipher this ? having trouble looking at it on my own.

if the planet (A) is aspecting planet (B), is that means that the planet (B) is aspecting planet (A), do they both affecting each other, and would any planet be more dominant than the other. I now that the quastion sound really weird but I can't find the answer anywhere

depends on what aspects are being made. A planet in its natural sign or house will be stronger and again depends on what other aspects a planet has.

Help me if my understanding is correct , So I'm Sagittarius ascendant (9th house), now from my Asc Saturn is in 4th house ( Pisces) , as per your explanation Saturn will look at 1,3,7,10. So it looks at 1st house (Pisces) the house its sitting, then 3rd house from where it is sitting (Taurus), 7th house (Virgo) and 10th house finally Sagittarius (my ascending itself) Correct !! Am I correct...Thanks in advance.. Another question will be since Saturn is sitting in Pisces and that sign will aspect Gemini,Virgo and Sagittarius which it is already aspecting in addition its looking at Taurus correct ? I agree it gets a lot easier to understand aspects and their strengths using this system. However, I still don't understand "why it is the way it is". Why do saturn, mars and jupiter have these especifc groups of aspects? Why don't the others? Why, for example, aren't the jupiter's aspects the mars' ones? I believe there must be a profound reason that explains the association of some planets with some aspecs, but what is this reason?
