Excellent video. I was in the trauma unit for eight days & was not given any instructions about fitting it. I was sent home without knowing anything about cleaning the pads or the correct positioning for bed. The home health people did not have any suggestions either. was very disappointed in the "professionals" lack of knowledge. Thank you!

I'm actually surprised that the doctor assistant nurse that was putting this neck brace on me didn't know how to adjust it. My neck is messed up really bad. Been with this pain for 3 weeks already. I'm going to call them right now. And complain. Thank you for the video. Have a good day

Wife just had neck surgery and nobody even explained it, or adjusted it right at all. Hope you’re doing better!

Same here! With such important surgeries, the placement of the collar should be an important part to cover before being released! Hope your doing well!

Insane that following a multilevel ACDF that the nurse said you just tighten the two straps until it's tight around your neck. Why would any surgeon worth their pay not at least include this video in their reference material. Turns out my collar was barely on.

Thankful for this video. The paper instructions are confusing. One morning, I turned to do something at my kitchen sink..rinse a glass I think, and got a serious neck spasm. The next day when I woke it was worse all day so I ordered this and couldn't figure out how to use it. Also mines doesn't look like the pic on the site I ordered from.

It's a challenging experience.... I do find it needs adjustment to be bearable.....I'm wearing one for 6 weeks...I'm only 2 weeks in!

Oh my, wife just got out of the hospital and I was with her the two day stay, and NONE of the precautions or adjustments were made, they slapped it on and said SEE YA. It’s only supporting her neck from moving side to side after her c6-c7 disc replacement surgery…. I can’t even wake her cause she’s finally getting rest, the healthcare system sucks!! They’re so short staffed after firing all the people who didn’t want to get the “vaccine “….. thanks for the video, I’ll do this myself….
