I get one solid run out of everything 8 or so... I may get 46 seconds and the next time hit the wall 3 or 4x and get over 50 lol Try not to drift but in 2 spots and that's all, it really drops your speed by 50% and when you graze a wall, you can go from 140-60 instantly and have to waste your full nitro bar!

I find the part where you land after the first ramp to be critical. a little early or a little late on the drift button can sink your time by up to .5 seconds. have to maintain speed on landing but not so much as to make you have to drift too much before picking up the blue nitro

I've gotten a 44.8 in practice with a 2 star OC car on TD with no drifting, but making the exact same run several times again following the exact same path, all TD and no drifting, it can be as much as a second to a second and a half slower for some stupid reason. Only on about one of every ten practice runs does TD not bounce the car off the building on the last 90 degree left turn, and that really slows it down. My 44.8 was on one of the rare runs that TD didn't clip the building. According to the times already posted in my group, even if I can do another 44.8 when it counts it'll barely get me in the top ten. I need to quit this aggravating game. 😄

Thanks. I am in Tier 3 and no-one in my group has gone yet. If I could use the now non-existent Seasonal Tokens to buy more runs, I would go first to break the ice. Regular Tokens are harder to get and, at my level, there are many things that getting would be good to get, like keys for Lamborghinis in card packs for Lantern Days, etc..

How do you tell what tier you're in? I'm on XB if that makes a difference, but I don't see my group's tier anywhere. I think I qualified too high (3rd) and I'm grouped with a lot of manual drivers, because even the best, most flukey TD practice times barely get me in the top ten on this track with this pig of a car.

I agree that the car is a sad case of an excuse for an Alfa. In terms of Tiers, once the rounds begin and qualifying is over, if you check where it says prizes, it will show you what Tier you are in.@@RMB42

I got 46.635 for only had nitro and handling upgraded to 1 star max and without the new upgrade thingy. And that was before i got to look any videos. There are 2 spots where not to drift as it lose time by hitting the wall and you have them in this video. First is after the second barrelroll jump and second is a bit later.

Mine was doing that too, but I recently learned to turn off ghost in the game settings and it seems to have worked. Even without crashing, hitting those ramps using TD on this course doesn't do anything to improve my times, though. 44.8 is my best so far and that's with no jumps or drifting. This pig of a car drifts like it's on ice.

@@RBRM3 Try not using any ramps or drifting at all to set your baseline lap speed, and do it the same way several times to get an average because on TD it can vary even doing it the same way every time. Just take the shortest route with the best line around the track and don't go out of your way to hit any bottles. Hit them only if they're in your line without swerving to get them. Once you have your average "no frills" baseline time set, run it using the baseline route and just change one thing at a time to see what it does to your time, such as add one barrel roll, or drift in only one place, etc. In my experience and seeing other drivers in ghost mode drifting and falling behind me because of it, drifting can slows you down as least as often as it helps your time. Good luck.

No.1: u never drift in this track , No.2: Not necessary to save up for shockwaves use orange nitro in air. drifting just slows u down. didnt u see how u slammed into that wall? drifting is for high speed corners my friend. this is a sharp corner track. so,, try one run like i said in manual mode [No touch drive] and u will see improvements for sure...

The best d class car is the Mazda furai is better than any 5 star d class car and honestly this car is one of the worst d class cars to be a 5 star even a key car and in GP GLoft was being incredibly stup.d this time this car is a bad as 3 star d class car I think some 3 star could even perform better than this sh.t car

It really depends on the track. If it's a high speed track with long straights and not as much need for handling and acceleration out of the corners, then the higher top end speed of the Furai can make it one of the better of the more commonly attainable D cars. However, on tracks with shorter straights and more twists and turns where handling, acceleration, and nitro boost count more than top end speed, the DS is usually better. I agree on this car, though. It's a stone cold pig that's worthless anywhere else in this game once this GP is over.
