Amusing that Firemaw was the real final boss of BWL in Classic

I wouldn't say so. Honestly, I see different guilds wipe on all kinds of bosses. My main raid wiped on Vael and stomped everything else. I just pugged it with my shamy and there it was mostly Chromaggus (and also the triple dragonkin packs). I even saw guilds wipe on Ebonroc. I think it really depends on who fucks up :D

We struggled on Firemaw at first, but as soon as we switched to "tank him in the doorway" strat I think we wiped at 2% and then got the kill next try. It's just so much cleaner with tank swaps and line of sight, and far less risk of the raid getting burped on.

Tanks using fire resist gear and double fire resist pots (vael) and 2 healing groups swapping for debuff drop (no los bs) for firemaw was the ticket for us
