Aspull Sough - Via Canal

Short walk along the Canal and deviation to the Aspull Sough. An area redeveloped to filter the Ochee water from the Old Mine under Haigh Hall.
Prior to its development the Ochee water from the mine was killing the fish, the local council development uses natural reed bed filtration system to clean the water.
