my kids are three years apart and i absolutely love it. My daughter was 3 when my son was born and i feel that it just made things a lot easier because she was already pretty independent. I was able to give my newborn the attention he needed without feeling like i was neglecting my daughter.

My little brother and I are 14yrs apart and we are still super close. My mom always said she wanted to give me my own time to shine and now my brother has his time. I just loved watching him grow and it taught me so much. Siblings close in age sound great too but just giving a perspective from a big gap if you do choose to wait awhile it’s still good☺️

Girl if you feel like your ready to have another baby go for it! My son is 5 and it’s taken me until now to get pregnant again. In my opinion I wish they were way closer in age that was my dream but it’s taken forever for me to get pregnant again and it makes me so sad that they will be so far apart.

My brother and I are six years apart and my parents loved it that way. My mom had my brother, was able to give all her time and attention to him, then he went off to school, she had me and was able to give the same energy to me as she did my brother. She liked that when she had me my brother was older and more independent, so he was able to help out a little, but he was also fine to go play on his own for a little while when she needed one on one time with me. Her and my dad knew that they didn't want to deal with two kids in diapers at the same time or have two kids in college at the same time, so they were very happy having their kids further apart in age. I don't have any complaints, either. Would it have been fun to be in the same school at the same time? Sure, I guess. But not the hugest deal to me. We did just fine and we have a great relationship!

And my younger daughter is super advanced for her age because she’s trying to keep up with big sis. It’s such a sweet dynamic. But, no matter what gap you have it will be perfect!! Hi! Our 2 babies are 17 months apart. One is 2.5 years old, the other 14 months and we are expecting another now in late May. I just say do what feels right for you and your family! The transition to two really isn’t so bad when they’re close. For me, it was easier to actually remember the newborn phase and all that goes into that. There are of course challenging moments, but I think the gap is nice. I initially wanted the gap every 2-3 years, but really the shorter age gap is kinda fun! Best of luck!

I had my daughter, Hazel, July 2019 and I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant 🤪 I found out I was pregnant when my daughter was 9 months so they will be 18 months apart. I’m currently in the stage of freaking out and also knowing that we will make it work! I will say it took 6 months to get pregnant the first time so I thought it would be the same the second time and it only took 1! Your body just knows what to do so keep that in mind just in case it happens for you too 🙃

My mom got pregnant soooo quickly after having each kid. My parents never planned it, they just let things happen whenever. So my older sister was literally 3 months old when my mom got pregnant with my older brother. The longest she didn't get pregnant for was 7 months between kids. I have five siblings and I LOVE being so close in age with all of them.

I have a 19 month old and I’m 3 months pregnant. Honestly it’s been HARD because my toddler is still really needy and I get SUPER sick. I finally am feeling better, but still threw up the other day. Ha! I am SUPER excited to have them be 2 years apart through! I’ll update later when I have them both haha! Health wise, I’ve heard that waiting 3 years in between pregnancies is ideal so your body has enough time to rebuild nutritional stores that were depleted during past pregnancy/breastfeeding! I have a 5 month old now and that’s my plan but obviously people always have babies closer and it works for them!

I only have a 4 month old myself, but my niece is three and she gets very jealous when her mom holds my baby so I would do young enough so that you don't have to worry about that. And everyone that I ask with kids close in age like 2 years or less always say that love the age gap.

I can’t speak to having kids yet lol but my middle brother and I are 3.5 yrs apart and I would say that’s a really good gap! My relationship with him is very strong because we grew up basically in the same generation so we bond over lots of common interests that I don’t have with my oldest brother.
