I use my husband's name socially but have kept my own last name legally because I published and have all of my degrees under my maiden name before we were married. It's surprisingly difficult to change your last name as a doctor, lol. I think it's fine to use Ferris socially and Ovard professionally. In the medical field tons of women do this; it's not a big deal at all. Loved the video!

I 10000000000% love the fact that Aspyn kept her last name, I do not understand the need for this tradition to still persist, there is no need to continue to erase the identity of women. Your name is yours and you still are part of the family, because a family is what you actively create between the two of you and not just a name.
