Awesome to see this continue. More People search for Videos about item reviews that will help them decide on what to buy. Getting more traction from the KZbin audience is a great call. Your content is always very informative and easy to follow and learn. Bravo Zulu for the effort and major bonus points for having no Advertising or Endorsement entanglements to cloud your recommendations and testing analysis. Puts you in a very small group as far as providing quality testing and feedback for the general benefit of the Audio community. Integrity and transparency is hard to find Sir!

I have the 590's as mains with the 570's for a center and surrounds in a 5.2 surround system with three Yamaha P3500S Pro Audio amplifiers driving all of them. These JBL's sound amazing in a Home theater system as well as a two channel stereo system. You can tame the sound with the foam bungs that come with the speakers and of course, they need to be placed in the room correctly like all speakers do. I have them 6 feet apart with a slight toe in and a slight upward rake angle. They can play very loud and clean with good equipment.

Try what I did from watching New Record Day a couple years ago. Cross the sound waves. Extreme Toe in. You're probably need to place the speakers 7- 8 ft apart but man what a difference!🤔🤫🤯😜

This stuff is amazing. It might seem simple stuff for Big boss Amir and the higher ops, but fur us down here, this is learning at every bits of info . I know i am repeating myself, but Amir you seem so at ease doing those, superb content. Please keep doing more tubes like those, specially on loudspeaker reviews as i feel this is where most of the complex information is hidden. Again thank you for sharing all this !! Much love :) 😍🥰😍🥰👍👍👍👍

I'm doing a review on those JBL 590's if I ever get around to finishing it. I have on speaker on axis and in room frequency response measurements. I don't recall mine being anywhere near as choppy nor any rise in the tweeter area. But I loved the first pair so much I bought a second round of them. In my room they measure surprisingly flat right out of the box with no EQ. Yes, if anyone can find them at $400 each don't waste another second thinking about it, just buy them. The sound stage from these is amazing! I also have 4 of the 530's under review as part of my 5.1.4 system. When I get around to it.... Cheers 🍻

Amir, I would highly suggest, in addition to the roundup, release each segment as a separate video. Then you get more views and individual products will be easier for people to find via search. There are many KZbinrs now who will do an full show and realize that along with the full show cut up and individually titled per segment. Great work!

Thanks. It is a good suggestion. Alas, I do no editing of my videos. I capture and upload. Separating them will take a hit in fidelity and would require some work. I wonder if there is a way to reference the one long video as three separate ones....

People who enjoy music in my mind should choose a more "pro" route, with balanced xlr interconnects, speakon plugs for speakers, benchmark media cables (to be cautious) and not fear cable length, just carefully setup polarity, phase, and then speaker placement (distance from floor and walls), and probably room treatment where mirrors can make you view speakers from listening position. Then use something like a dbx driverack PA2 and a mic to room eq. all this brings power, clarity, dynamics and enjoyment to anything played back, being movies (2.1 is really perfect) or all kinds of music. My dream system would be 2 genelec 8361 speakers and a proper Rythmik audio servo subwoofer. But overall jumping from consumer to pro gives with lower cost in my mind more clarity, dynamic and clean power the the songs I know best. I thing the quality vs price gives an edge on selected pro devices and cables. And if rack mount is not cosmetic, then just hide all this in a cabinet.

Amirm - Really appreciate it when you compared typical phono input level of 0.5mV vs clipping input level of 8mV, you said it was 15 times more, i.e. 16 times a much. Instead, most people would say 16 time more (i.e. 17 times as much) when they mean 16 time as much and that would drive me nut everytime I hear that. 😤

24:35 Important point, thanks for mentioning that caveat. To anyone listening: You can move more freely vertically and not worry as much about ceiling and floor reflections if you get a coaxial speaker. The only tradeoff is that the companies that make good coaxial speakers (Kali, KEF, and Genelec, in that order from good to great,) don't make models with very wide dispersion.

Slightly off topic BUT.... I just ordered Aiyima A07 amplifiers for a project. When I got to inspecting them I got quite the surprise ... The op-amps tested as genuine, the bulk capacitors have been upgraded from 1,000uf to 2,200uf, the output filters have been re-worked, they've installed a larger heat sink and the volume control is now Audio taper. It would appear they've been making "silent upgrades" all along. The amplifier from July 2023 is far better than the one from December 2021. Yeah... it is now a better amplifier and it sounds amazing. Reviewers may wish to revisit their previous information.

@@AudioScienceReview A pleasant surprise indeed ... I don't have a time line for what was done when, but it does look good on them for doing this. Now we just got to get Fosi to do something about the TB10d ... that one's got real problems. I've reported it to them and am waiting for their answer. The on/standby switch fails to put the amplifier into standby (~Reset) about 3 of 5 times leaving it on and active. There are also problems with inductive coupling between the output coils and the heat sink. LOL... What part of "keep the little spiral wire thingies away from the big chunk of metal" did they not understand? Too bad, too... I was really looking forward to a nice set of tone controls. (The disheartening thing is that with dozens and dozens of reviews from HiFi "experts", none of them caught any of these problems.)

Well, gather 'round y'all, let me spin ya a tale of a feller named Amir, who's been crowned the god of electronic measurements, right here amidst the musings and melodies of audiophiles. Now, these audio enthusiasts, bless their hearts, have taken their hobby and turned it into somethin' akin to witchcraft and superstition. They'll whisper 'bout cables blessed by the light of the harvest moon and amplifiers baptized in the tears of a thousand angels. It's a right mystical world, filled with enchantments and enigmatic doo-dads. Now, amidst this realm of sonic sorcery, in comes Amir with his trusty steed, ASR Measurements. He rides through the mist of mythology, armed with the sword of science, cutting through the hocus pocus with the precision of a surgeon. ASR Measurements, you see, is founded on the rock-solid ground of science, not on the whimsical whispers of old wives' tales. When Amir measures the soul of a sound system, he ain't lookin' for magical mojo, he's seekin' the cold, hard facts, the nitty-gritty numbers that tell the tale of what's hummin' and buzzin' in them circuits. As the conductor of ASR Measurements, Amir brings a touch of reality to the reverie, leading the charge against the ghostly gales of guesswork that sweep through the land of audiophilia. His methodology is as sturdy as a live oak, with roots that dig deep into the soil of scientific scrutiny, yielding fruits of knowledge that are ripe for the pickin'. So, while the audiophiles might dance 'round the maypole, singin' praises to the mystical muses of melody, Amir keeps his boots firmly planted in the realm of the rational, turning the dials of discernment to tune out the tangles of tall tales. With a tip of his hat and a twirl of his measuring probe, he unveils the truths that lay hidden beneath the veil of vagary, shedding the warm, golden light of logic upon the shadowy shenanigans of audio alchemy. And that, my friends, is why they call him the god of electronic measurements, a beacon of sense in a sea of sonic superstitions.

this phono is the perfect candidate for a facelift version, lets call it nude😱 why does it not come with a clear glass or plastic, top hat😡 what the 🤬 . . . if I'm spending this kind of dough on a freakin phono then i want to flaunt it a bit you know, maybe it's me but i doubt that very much🙄 there is no reason why everything has to be a black or metal box, even considering that there will be some thermal compromise in terms of heat dissipation but imo that is not something that you cant work around, you can make the base more of heatsink, please🙏🏼 ps: thank you amir for showing the inside🙏🏼
