Would you happen to know if the Samsung 850 Evo SSD works with this board? It's not shown on the supported storage list on the Asrock website which is strange. Thanks.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't, as a matter of fact I'm 100% it will work. Most of these "supported / compatibility lists" are just indication of what they've actually tried to put onto this motherboard, like some kind of validation, but it's not necessary a true compatibility list in a way they literally took all the available models of SSD's on the market and tried it out on it.

+J chee There's no such thing as a "VR ready motherboard", that's a marketing gimmick. They usually put that claim because they "confirmed" that everything works OK in terms of VR on that specific platform, but hardware wise it doesn't have anything to do with the motherboard itself. All you need, and what's important in terms of VR gaming, is a decent newer generation CPU and GPU and enough RAM, and you will be good to go.

Tek i have about 150$ for a good headset... i need it for listen music and play on pc... im really undecided between Audio Technica Pro ATH-M50X, Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm (this two are professional headsets for studio ecc...) and Logitech G533. what do you reccomend between this headsets ?

ATH-M50X have more neutral sound, they are after all an monitoring style headphones. Logitech G533 is completely out of their league compared to these two when it comes to music listening, so I would probably go for the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro + ModMic microphone. 🎧

I looked at the specs on ASRock's website. Majority of specs are the same (B250 v H270). For simple gaming here and there and main usage is for productivity, I chose the B250 and ASUS GTX 1060 OC

There's no such thing as a "VR supported" motherboard, that's just a marketing gimmick. Any newer MBO will "support VR". You need to have a decent GPU, CPU, SSD and RAM, in order to be able to run VR games!

Nice video man. I think that you need to change up your reviews a bit. All of your videos have that trademarked surface for b rolls but I think you need more creative shots of your products. For the motherboard reviews, perhaps considering poping in a CPU checking out VRM temperatures, voltage stability, overclocking options on overclocking boards,etc.

As I said couple of times in this video, no it doesn't, it's a H270 chipset based motherboard and they don't support OC, at least not officially. Maybe down the road someone release a BIOS which will enable overclocking, it happened before with Haswell, but I think that's unlikely.

a H270 chipset does *not* support overclocking. The OC is for RAM.

it should supord the GPU although you might want to upgrade for futher improvements I would say. also check if the RAM is compateble with this motherboard like : DDR version and clockspeed of the ram. Furthermore if you want to switch your curent CPU with this motherboard the socket has to fit, this motherboard is LGA 1151
