ASSAD IS A TERRORISTS , no one could be worse than him, after seeing the Prisons, and anyone who opposes him HE KILLS THEM, or arrests them. HE was a billionaire while the Syrians were starving and homeless and living in tents.

How naive people this days, Russia and Iran set a TRAP!! This is the END of Israel and USA, stupid stupid people!! Why do you think Syria fall so fast, they had very good army, and some 20 Russian bombers could change that "rebels" advance in few days, but they didn't, WHY? Because Putin playing chess and thinking much much forward!! This "rebels" are radicals and Putin know very well what will happens soon! Naive EU hoping to get cheaper gas soon, instead they will get radicalization of ALL Muslims in Europe!

If you put western democracy there - it will be overthrown in a week be cause this is how divided the country is from within - divided on religious sects and tribes. Such countries need tyrant dictators.

We went through exactly like this so called freedom in 90s in Somalia. Foreign interference to derail reconciliation is very real, it will also be very hard to find strong democratic government by these opposing groups. It seems people are optimistic but the history showed otherwise. We can only pray for Syria and hopefully Alah has his ways and I don't see light at end of tunnel but I wish I could be wrong

In my opinion, as long as I hear the shouts of "Allahu Akbar", it translates to this: a dictator with a full belly has left, only to be replaced by another with an empty belly who will take fifty more years to fill it up. And when he does, he will repeat the same injustices-if not worse-against his people as his predecessor. This cycle has been ongoing in the Arab world for the past 1,400 years. The real question we must ask is this: Now that the dictator is gone, will Syria become a democratic country, fair to all its citizens? Will it be willing to allow leadership from any of its citizens, regardless of their faith, political affiliation, or tribal background? Will the minorities of Syria have an equal opportunity to hold the position of President and lead the country into the 21st century, embracing technology and modernization? Any answer short of this is nothing but the rise of another Islamic dictator-hungrier than the first.

The best chance to peace is to actually work alongside Muslim countries who also have developed and are bringing peace like Saudi Arabia. If they oppose peace with Saudi Arabia and working on developing the land and international relations and freedom of people and rely on Rebel groups with history of causing bloodshed to the population then no doubt the oppression will continue. And it's funny how the media tried to tarnish the reputation of Saudi Arabia but its people are living great. Even westerners who have been to Saudi Arabia love the hospitality, basically if the Syrians want to move forward to build relations with golf states. Everyone else who came in to help just used the Syrians and their lands. Plus Saudi Arabia don't need the Syrian peoples money they allready have enough and are known to aid over 150 countries with charity. Sometimes we should look at the stats and put opinions to the side. No1 is perfect but the good outshines the ugly.

Get basic necessities down first. If you can’t take care of yourself, you don’t know how to decide for yourself. Build back the buildings, build back the resources for basic living, hospitals, food and accommodations, clothes, restore some beautiful buildings, start some educations, secure your military down. The rest, is a long way to go. Middle East is complicated 😢.
