Americans aren't paying for the world anymore. In case nobody here noticed Trump was elected overwhelmingly. His team plan to invest domestically, and they're making drastic cuts. That gassing devil should have been taken out long ago, if Obama had the moral decency but Dems don't!!!! They'd much prefer to flood countries with refugees than get involved minimally to solve the matter entirely. I don't see how this is an American obligation. Let Arab nations deal with it, especially when they had the audacity to allow Assad back into their club knowing full well what he is and has done. The American people are sick to death of foreign hand outs.

I'm okay with EU paying for a lot of reconstruction if it means we can send Syrian refugees back to Syria.

Please tell me why you feel it's right to have people pay for foreigners and their country, instead of the obligations & responsibilities here in their lives!?! Why does a tax payer HAVE to pay for anything in a foreign nation involving foreigners!!!! My charity begins for my fellow people & suffering of all kinds here domestically. Paying to rebuild that bombed out reck would bankrupt any county at this point and many are already collapsing. Not to mention the people never end up appreciating it or capable of residing in peace & happiness, let alone be prosperous to pay back the kindness & loans!!!!

I'd rather my money go to rebuilding Syria than benefit you in any way. Sharing a country with people like you nauseates me.
