@@truebeardgaming2274 Agreed, at first, I really liked it but then as I coming back to the games, I started to be compelled by the stories and the protagonists more than the graphics and mechanics, and Connor was seriously so annoying to bear throughout the whole game and he was not even the best part, his father Haytham was.

@@stopthecap6913 as soon as I played the game on its first day of release I was disappointed. Connor was boring, there was no real parkour apart from some trees and the odd few towns. Assassin's Creed is what restored my love in history, and because of it, I've recently become a Historical Fiction author working on a grand historical project. Despite the complaints people have about the franchise and how it has evolved into RPGs, I still appreciate the great amount of work they put into making each game feel grand and alive while setting a beautiful historical atmosphere to them. Cheers!

Bruh, the franchise was the same in so many ways from 1 to Syndicate, and then Origins came in to reboot the series after a drought in sales and reception, and then two games came out similar to Origins (which Ubi did with the series from 1 onwards) yet some AC fans only now go "Man all this new stuff is the same". I grew up playing these games, starting all the way back with Altair. I've watched this gaming franchise go through highs and lows, played every assassin game they'll throw out there, hell even my hat is from the original AC3 release. I've had to sneak through the 1100's, love, cried, and lost through the Renaissance, watched my people lose everything with the American revolution, discovered the fascinating and fulfilling life as a pirate on the high seas, seen the brotherhood hunted to near extinction, fought with the people for a free and independent France, watched the industrial revolution go from a crawl to the backbone of a nation, lived and breathed as a legendary Medjay of Egypt even slid down the pyramids and seen the birth of the Brotherhood itself, felt true power and strength as a Spartan descended from the mighty Leonidas himself, sang the songs of the Nordic as we sail the rivers of England to go avikinging and establish our place in this new world, and I can't wait to see what I'll do next.

Words can't describe how much I'm in love with Assassin's Creed. The amount of detail put into each game in the series is outstanding and, if I could probably say this for everyone, it's funny how much I loved learning about history in this game than in high school. Overall, AC is one of the best game franchises ever created and like many, I am looking forward to many more chapters in this franchise. Cheers!!

I played AC1 as a kid and was so enamored by and transfixed within the world of the medieval Middle East that that is exactly what I studied in college. I learn(ed) Arabic, I learn(ed) everything I could about the Islamic and Christian civilizations of this time and place, I lived over in Jordan and the Holy Land, and now I teach classes in Arabic and Middle Eastern civilizations at a secondary school. Heck, AC even got me interested in philosophy, theology, and evolutionary theories. I mean it so seriously when I say this game quite truly changed the course of my entire life! I know people don't like Syndicate all that much but when I was going through anesthesia pain, even after I got out of the hospital, Jacob and Evie made it so much better. 5 years later and I have played most of the series, except for Brotherhood and Revelations.
