@SlowWinterNuts6 жыл бұрын
Ironically enough, the first AC game wasn't as focused on the Creed as the others are, as the premise of the first game was mainly about being manipulated by a Templar to kill off his competition
@skubi_chrupki6 жыл бұрын
Slow Winter Nuts It was the only one about the true creed, well apart from revelations. Ezio Trilogy was more like using assasins title to fight certain enemies
@SlowWinterNuts6 жыл бұрын
@@skubi_chrupki There was never really a "true" creed though, merely different interpretations of it. Throughout history in the AC universe, each game sheds light on how different eras and different sects of Assassins and Templars analyze and interpret their own mantras, sometimes the Assassins behave (depending on your ethics) similar to the "bad guy" and the Templars the "good guy", and at different places and periods of time, vice versa. Bayek started the brotherhood and the majority of its tenants, but everyone after that interprets it in their own ways. There's even people like Altaïr whom radically changed the preexisting brotherhood into a more modern form (and the 15th century Spanish Assassins not quite getting the memo it seems 😅). It's quite the allegory to real life culture, belief, and religions changing and reforming over time based upon different interpretations.
@skubi_chrupki6 жыл бұрын
I guess you're right It's just Ac1/bloodlines were first ac games I have ever played so maybe that's how I interpretate how Assasin's clan should look like. Kind of monastery, but focused on peace, not caring about religion and stuff formerly, when someone had said assasin's creed first thing that came to was hidden blade and white hoodies right? After that it became... personal? Families and stuff. Until Ezio started to chase Altair past, which for me is an epic solution for connecting those 2 worlds Who is Bayek btw?
@SlowWinterNuts6 жыл бұрын
@@skubi_chrupki Bayek was the main protagonist of Assassin's Creed Origins. An Egyptian Medjay (imagine a sheriff in charge of protecting the entirety of Egypt) in 49 B.C. Egypt. Through a series of events, Bayek becomes involved in a conspiracy involving a mysterious order (a precursor to the Templars) that has been oppressing Egypt, and through killing each member, he uncovers more and more of the plot. Through Bayek's efforts in protecting Egypt and helping its fellow people as he fights against oppression, he gathers followers, people who believe in him (occasionally Bayek would even inspirationally rant about how they just need some sort of brotherhood to protect the people against the corrupt), and by the end of the game, he finally forms the Brotherhood as how we recognize it today, but back then, they named themselves after the Egyptian God Amun, they called themselves the Hidden Ones. The game is actually pretty great in terms of gameplay, story, and lore. And it does _extremely_ well in how it connects with AC1 and how it's all explained, what with the leap of faith, marking your targets with feathers, the hidden blade, how it all started, and of course, it also explains why the Assassins in AC1 perform the ritual of cutting off their ring finger. And also Amunet (she showed up as a statue in Monterigionni Villa in AC2) shows up in this game and in the story dlc: The Hidden Ones. Oh and Darius (first appeared in AC2 as a statue, he's the first recorded wielder of the hidden blade) gets a brief reference too when you get the hidden blade.

***** That and the linear level design that offered no freedom and the character Ezio is just a Mr Perfect cardboard cutout. Also that fact that stealth was essentially turned into a liability where it was just easier and faster to just charge into an area and kill everyone with a couple of counters and then the forced parkour and linear on rails segments. The Characters in the modern era lose a lot of depth and realism to them too, Lucy still is now a cliche lethal martial arts bimbo and warren Vidic is just a generic Saturday morning cartoon villain.

I played Assassin's Creed Revelations for the first time last year and completed it this past January. I had chills when I heard this song in Revelations. Such a great story, music, and overall franchise for me so far.

Many people say that Ezio's family is the best OST from assassins creed, but in my opinion, this track is just as masterfully done as that track!
