In fairness, Edward just wants a better life for himself, and had no knowledge of either faction at the time. I mean, if an alien came to Earth during WW2, and saw everyone ganging up on Germany, who would they think is being the bad guy? An extreme example, but I hope you get my point.

"You murdered our brothers in Havana!" That line always pissed me off in this game... So it's PERFECTLY FINE for the Assassins to murder indescriminately, but its horribly wrong and awful to kill one of them for trying to kill you? So what, if an Assassin tries to kill you, are you supposed to just let him kill you?

I think it would be interseting if they expand that this very idea is what could potencaily make Assassin to be an antagonist in AC:Rouge. The idea that "Only our creed has the right to decide who live or die. We have a justify a reason kill anyone that we declare to be the obstacle to the freedom of mankind." So...yes. They basicly said that if they(The assassin) try to kill you, it mean you are "EVIL" and have no right to say other wise(Or...you could, but only after they slice your throat and enter the dramatic last word sequence, but most of the time they would say that "Nope! You deserve to die, and I'm going to walk away like a boss!! See ya."). If you try to fight back, you are a savage. If you plead for your life, you're pathetic. If you try to run away, you're coward. Even if you stand still a let them take your life, try to go down with an honorable death, the assassin will still call you a heartless monster who doesn't understand that life(wish they take!) is sacred. ....Good lord. I think could work on a Templar propaganda department! May the father of understanding guide us.

Freelancer591 I think you misunderstand, the master assassin( forgot his name) Is mad because edward, continued walpole's plan of betrayal, Killed the assassins at havana By killing the assassins there, edward ruined their plans, saving the templars. He also unknowingly sold information regarding the assassins, to the templars. All of that, for ''money'' Anyone in their right mind would be furious after hearing such answer.

dekaron12 So Ah Tabai less angry about what Edward had done, but more about why Edward had done, right? I can see your point there. After all the mentor do despite Edward's ignorance. But it kinda funny to think if Tabai would say "If you actually are a Templar and had pledge your loyalty to the world domination instead of money, I would be less angry about you killing our brother and sister!!"

Scare crows No he actually had some restraint and patience when Edward only did it for money. If Edward pledged allegiance to the Templars earlier, Ah Tabai would have MURDERED him here and now on the spot.

Ah Tabai was much more of a Mentor than most, in that he personally trained every single Assassin in his Brotherhood. Edward didn't just murder fellow Assassins, he murdered Ah Tabai's own former students whom he likely knew from birth and trained extensively. As such, his anger is pretty justified.

Yeah but he has the 'sense', freerunning and climbing skills because of his privatering and probably learned his skills with swords the same way. He's skilled and the style of fighting assassins use suits him

@@jkasdhn99 well not completely though, both origins and odyssey were before there was a creed, but you're right that it has always been about the assassins and templars (or how they were named in different eras) and the games tell a story much wider than the main character

@@jkasdhn99 well not if you've played origins or odysee and I don't necessarily disagree with you, because I literally said the same thing, but the games are also about history and the Templar-Assassins conflict through different eras and with different historical figures involved. The Creed is the collective of assassins, so yes the games are about assassins. If you disagree with me that means you don't consider black flag an AC game because the creed wasn't featured that much at all until the end. Meanwhile the assassins lore was heavily woven into the game.
