But the parkour looks n seems stiff & wish they would use the parkour from unity. Why do parkour and environment's material properties still look the best in AC Unity? That game was ahead of its time that was ridiculed because it launched in an awful buggy state and CPU on most PCs and consoles were not powerful enough to handle the crowd system they had implemented. I played ACU a couple of years after release and that was the refinement of AC 1 and AC2 mechanics with better combat, and the best AC parkour system (even better than Mirage which still looks a bit unrealisitc and less fluid as it has some of their rpg ac's parkours aspects bleeding in). what is insane is that it apparently only takes one marketing video to make large parts of the community act like this will be the greatest game in the franchise. so far, they have shown little more than a reintroduction of gameplay systems from 10 years ago. How have they evolved them? Have they added new mechanics? Have they taken cues from Hitmans revolutionary social stealth? Have they overhauled the movement system to be less floaty and super human? Have they rethought climbing to make it more challenging? Will “fighting is his last resort” actually be reflected in a very low health pool? Will there be a morality system a la Dishonored or Red Dead? Will appreciated systems from Unity make a return? (Character customisation, Co-Op, Lighting, parkour nuances) Will the story writing be anywhere close to recent narratives? (Red Dead, God of War, The Last of Us) Will there be actual exploration like in Elden Ring or Ghost of Tsushima? Point is, will this be a return to the roots within a meaningful evolution of the franchise or will it be the same RPG map-marker marathon, like the recent games?
