Before I bought Mirage I was going in expecting the parkour to be shit because of all the videos I had watched saying "don't expect good parkour". When Mirage arrived and I played it, I was pulling off some interesting stunts on my own and discovering that back/side ejects were actually a thing that I could make happen, so I began to wonder where the "shit parkour" was, because I wasn't seeing it. I then thought to myself "seeing how fluidly I can chain free-running sections, I'm willing to bet there are KZbinrs already out there realising the same thing as me and posting videos about it". Lo and behold, I was right. Mirage parkour is way better than we expected it to be.

0:22 Back Eject into Diagonal Wall Run into Side Eject into Pole Swing is crazy. Most parkour showcases of this game mostly show usage of pole jumps and regular vaults. You got the mechanics down frr. love to see it bro ❤

Landscape makes such a huge difference. If Valhalla had a big city in the middle of that huge ass open world with a lot of parkour opportunities it would’ve been much better

You can't imagine how impressed I am with people who defend this game. You people are so noble and I'm not even joking. Dead ass serious you have to be a very nice person to defend something not because it's good but because it's hated by others. who cares if a 9 years old game is better than this one you should still like it right? It still works and there are even some cool things to do even tho they aren't new by any means. And the graphics look nice even tho they are worse than some older games. The AI, the combat, the story are not that bad actually and some of those things are actually exactly the same as before and not worse at all. Even though it's been years and there could have been some improvements who cares if loyal fans buy every new game because they believe every promise by developers. And if the devs lied to you well it's your fault then why you so mad bro? and you know what? if we pretend this game is the first in human history it is actually amazing It's honestly adorable

@@Ropotopolous the whole "return to the roots" thing is complete BS this game was originally intended to be a DLC for valhalla and it clearly still is. Only bigger than a usual DLC the black box missions are a perfect example. there are none in mirage. It's not that I don't like them. Not that iN ThE FiRsT GaMe ThEy ArE BeTtEr no they ain't there

It's not. It's an add on. I'm a sucker for black outfits and the pack had 4 black variants of different master assassin outfits for $10 so I treated myself.

@@Aquaelus the buggy state Unity released in was not because of the year it released in. It tried to do too much and they didn't let it cook enough. They had too many animations and too many points to snap to, and no consistency. When it worked, it was beautiful. It only worked like 15% of the time tho (and people who have played wayyyy more AC than me agree)
