The Eagle scratching basim signifies that he's not fully basim anymore. He's loki.

Enkidu scratches him because she doesn't recognize him as Basim anymore and only sense Loki. It was a subtle foreshadowing that Loki can't really be trusted. It's like a dog biting you because you're not the same person they know anymore. Basim embraced Loki and had a whole new personality while Eivor rejected Odin and kept hers.

Basim became Loki at the end. Nehal and the Jinni are representatives of Basim's "Loki" consciousness. When he and Nehal/Jinni fuse, he adopts the Loki personality we see in Valhalla. While Eivor saw the past through Odin because she is a Viking, Basim saw the past through the Jinni because he reincarnated in the Middle East. Once he got his memories back, he understood everything as it happened. Enkidu attacked Basim because it could sense that the Loki personality fully surfaced and it's no longer the same Basim we know. Roshan didn't want Basim to know his past for reasons that are explained in other Assassin's Creed games, particularly Black Flag and Unity since this isn't a unique incident in Assassin history.

This was a very cool ending, people who played Valhalla knew before hand something happened to Basim, but it’s cool to see in its entirety what he underwent

enkidu doesn't recognize basim anymore, that's why he attacked him

Yeah, i am not sure if you know the story of Valhalla. Basim at the end here basically gave in to the reincarnation of Loki (Nehal) within him. That is what Roshan feared would happen. Now because the Mentor wanted to work together with Basim in the end (now really Loki again) Roshan decides to leave the Brotherhood. Enkidu scratched him because he basically didn't recognize him anymore as Basim. And now Basim (Loki) sometime after this meets Sigurd (reincarnation of Tyr) and Eivor (reincarnation of Odin) because he wants to find Odin and kill him once and for all. And he hates Odin for the things he did in the past (when they were still alive as Isu).

Ah okay. We got the Eivor and Sigurd part of Valhalla but completely missed Basim as Loki 😂 whoa we missed a lot in our playthrough of that apparently

Basim is “Loki” in the end. And shouldn’t be trusted anymore. His ambitions, his desires, may out weight itself from the Assassins in the Modern Day. I don’t trust him-and neither should you.
