You won't have problems because it's tough to get better graphics than ps4 and xbox one. And even when they do it, it'll take a while. So for the next 2 years there won't be a significant difference between the ps5 and ps4 quality. Ps4 will only become obsolete once they can make games that only ps5 can handle

PS4 Pro is a 4k checkerboard upscaling and 60fps machine. They just stopped pushing 60fps patches onto it because of the PS5. PS5 And PS4 Pro both play perfectly in 1440p. MW3/Zombies plays beautiful and snappy as heck on my PS4 Pro with SSD. Still no reason to upgrade yet.

Seems perfectly playable, the HDR does make a good diference, not to mention the loading times, a PS4 pro with a good ssd upgrade looks like a good alternative to the PS5. Though if you do it i suggest to go for a higher end Sata 3 SSD, such as the Samsung 860 evo 2Tb...

@@kusqs5106 You're correct, the AMD Jaguar is a limiting factor, evan more so on the Standard PS4 wich also had the limitation of running on SATA II, so for a PS4 fat and slim there's no reason to go for a more expensive SSD, but for the Pro it's still viable...

I play on ps4 slim it runs fine for me sometimes i had some fps drops but nothing very noticeable. Loading screens are pain in the ass also switching from inkido to basim it takes a while if inkido was far but meanwhile the game runs fine

It’s not really about the hardware not being a huge improvement, it definitely is, just a ton of games like Mirage are being made for older consoles primarily and if you make games using older techniques for lighting, asset streaming, textures, etc, it’s hard to make the new consoles look massively better, the games need to be built from the ground up for the new systems which has barely happened still 3 years into this generation. GTA 6 is an example of what games targeting modern platforms should look like. It’s a mix of publishers being greedy, studios being complacent and gamers buying shit that’s unfinished that’s led to stagnation in the past few years.

Sony keeps marketing their consoles capable for high res gaming, but in reality, the ps5 struggles to play at 4k60, and 90% games are at 4k30. And yeah, there will be no difference at 8k, cause the fidelity still sucks

They don't look that different because the extra power has gone on extra fps. same will happen when the ps6 comes out, the extra power will go on 60fps at 4k vs 30fps on the ps5. Once this is achieved then newer consoles will get back to pushing better graphics again.

If you change the playback speed to 50 percent slower you'll be able to see the difference more. 60fps in slow motion is smoother compared to 30fps.

I recently upgraded to new gen PS5 before i upgraded i had a PS4 Pro and it ran all of my games perfectly fine and they all looked good. The only reason last gen support would end is if those consoles ran out of memory and power which is what they need to continue getting games and updates for said games. Also taking into account games are getting bigger and more demanding so eventually last gen will be phased out and support will end for them they're over a decade old now.

I got a ps5 because the pa4 game patch list for the free 4k/60fps is 130 games long now. Replaying my old MassEffect games and witcher 3 at 4k/60 from 1080p/30 is like playing a new remastered game .

You noticed before the PS5 came out, games left and right were releasing 60fps enhanced patches and 4k texture packs for Ps4 Pro/Xbox One X. And when the PS5 released, they discontinued the PS4 Pro but still sell the PS4 Slim to this day. And suddenly all the PS4 Pro 4k Texture Packs and 60fps patches stopped and dissapeared. Why? Because the PS4 Pro could do the exact same thing a PS5 could do, 1440p and 60fps. MW2-3/Zombies plays exactly the same on my PS4 Pro as it does on my PS5, it's 60fps on all consoles. So if you're only playing Call Of Duty, There is no point in upgrading at all.

You know that old consoles use to have 60 fps as standard right? Like Snes, ps1, N64, Gamecube, Wii, ps2 the majority of games on these consoles used to run at stable 60fps. It was only with the ps3, xbox era that people started to notice the difference cause games actually started to underperform and the standard became 30 fps (cause graphics are better than fps apparently).

Not really. Youre gonna have to actually play the game side by side in person to really see the difference. Theres a thing called KZbin compression. But from what I see here, the resolution made the image more sharper on ps5. At 3:34, the ps5 shows more details in the distance. The most important is the frame rate, which makes a huge difference.

Wait for ps5 pro because there is gta 6 releasing next year and generally the ps5 Is much Better than a ps4 because it's way more faster and you can play games like cyberpunk with Amazing graphics and visuals because it run bad on the ps4 version. Also, when you get the console I highly recommend you to play Major playstation exclusives of the last few years: Ghost of tsushima, God of War, Uncharted Legacy of thief collection, tlou2, Days Gone, Spiderman games, Horizon etc. Because these games are very good games and I think everyone should play them at least once.

@samrssh2125 I got the ps5 like a week ago. Glad I didn't get ps4 pro. Did some reading and the ps5 is really powerful and few games today fully use the full potential. There were some articles debating whether the ps5 pro was an unnecessary product because in reality no one will be able to use its potential unless you have a tv/screen which is out of this world. Even the Ps4 normal played as advertised at 1080p/30fps. Hard to tell here but in real game play I can easily tell 60fps mode from 30fps mode on my Ps5. I never use quality mode .

I know its a weird request but can you make a video on ps5 vs xbox ? I just personally dont see the value in ps5. All the games are EASY. Like God of war is so easy u dont even play a game its all one button or quick time events. You are told where to go and what to do. And its lame. Other than that horizon west was lame. And Spiderman 2 is all im looking forward to. Xbox seems to be slightly better with gamepass, you get lies of p, starfield. Forza, and of course halo and gears are still being supported along with state of decay and sea of thieves . Redfall even got an update. So im confused on how ps5 is better

Probably not for you but allot of ppl care about ps5 exclusives and also some even find the ergonomics of the controller just better and the haptics are great too which you cannot get in xbox controller. Ok ps plus does not that many benefits like gamepass but it still gives some great games some great ps5 exclusives and also some other 3rd party titles not available on xbox. So ye the preference depends from preson to person.

Yea this gotta be bait. I can see if u said whats the point of xbox, but u said PS5 which is WILD to me. If u got a PC there is no point in having a Xbox, but there is still a reason to get a PS5. If PC didn't have game pass then Xbox would be worth it. Now PS plus Extra and Premium not worth it, even essential is debatable because of the price increase (well not worth for just online)

Got both ps5 and xbox series s, if I pick one its ps5 the exclusives are better, xbox series s needs definitely better space because I can only have up to 3 games on internal storage and it's annoying always moving in and out while on ps5 I put one cheap ssd internal and np,xbox you need to pay 150 bucks for 1 tb lol I got 4tb ssd on ps5 for 230 bucks np, both systems have their ups and downs I say get both if not then ps5 for me exclusives are better ,last of us top game, xbox is like for kids their exclusives ,
