Man if you like ac buy the Ezio collection when it’s on sale. My first ac was ac black flag and unity it was a Xbox one bundle. (Take me back) The Ezio collection is dated to an extent but I would say the parkour system was far more advanced than they’ve ever made it again. That and the story is the best in the Ezio collection they were cooking back the! But I swear we need more than one game with a protagonist and we’d get another iconic character like Ezio and Altair

I recently purchased the whole franchise on Steam. I plan to play through everything from 1 onward. I've bounced off Black Flag twice. Really want to give it a go because some friends think it will be my favorite.

Oh dang that’s sweet bro you’ll see just why a lot of old fans hate the series at this point because they make completely different games now. But I remember one of my friends in high school who loved the really old games like 1 and the Ezio collection hated black flag and I was bewildered, however now that I’ve played almost every game I can see how they were already going away from what made it originally great in the beginning. That being said ac 4 bf is the best pirate game ever made in my opinion. But fans have been divided for a while now, I like the rpg games, they are great time waster tbh specially Valhalla and the “rpg” mechanics are there just to make it feel like the Witcher or something so I will definitely say the new open world “rpg” assassin’s creed games are the least unique undoubtedly imo. Sorry for such a long comment I love ac and I see what it could be on the knew consoles if everything good from ac was actually capitalized on and not chasing the trends of the times. ​@@Gandalf_the_Gold I think part of the problem is fans play those first games and they just want more of the same, and that's not how art works. Same thing with music. They listen to a band's debut album and they just want more of that. I've heard Black Flag is the best pirate game ever made. I'm playing Valhalla now and I think it's the coolest Viking game ever made. Origins is definitely the coolest game ever set in Egypt. None of those games are the best "Assassin's Creed" games, and maybe those games didn't even need to be AC games, but they're fun as hell. Gamers need to learn to accept a title on its own terms and enjoy it for what it is, instead of bitching about what it's not. And thanks for the comment!

@@ColorsFadeGaming very true never even thought about it that way that they may also be the best games I’ve ever payed in that era/setting.😂 Even thought they changed a lot that perspective makes me appreciate the “RPG” games more.

I don't know about that, but it's easier to want to replay it because it's not so freaking big. That said, out of the ones I've played, I'd rather replay Origins or Valhalla than Mirage. But it's still a great AC game. I enjoyed the heck out of it. I think the most off-putting thing is that Baghdad simply isn't a great location to center a game around.

@@ColorsFadeGaming I just recently played through the FarCry series 3-6 and even tho FarCry6 was the last game it's the one I lease remember bcuz everything from the characters to the story was bland and I personally didn't like that they did cut scenes instead of staying in First person it just felt cheap and soul less to me

@@solosick4172 /shrug. We have a difference of opinion then. I loved all the characters and thought the cut scenes were fantastic. I don't know how you can call El Tigre or Juanron "bland." But whatever. And Giancarlo Esposito was the best villain since Vas and Buck in Far Cry 3. Really, the whole cast is amazing. I just don't understand that comment. The only thing I didn't like was the switch to 3rd person in camp. That was unnecessary and jarring.

It might have been cool in the original trilogy, but it's fucking stupid now. It's jarring and Layla was a completely unnecessary character.
