My face would not stop smiling during that early mission where you return to Monteriggioni... I was as giddy as a kid. I love how everyone was ecstatic to have "Lord Ezio is home!" I truly felt like I came home too. This game is truly a love letter to AC fans.

I was the exact same, felt like smiling, laughing and crying at the same time 😁 And yeah I agree, especially for AC fans, it feels so amazing to actually become the assassins that we can ignore a bit of jankiness here and there. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the review! I'll certainly get that. I do like the AC games, but I hope that if sales are high enough, they'll reconsider making a Splinter Cell VR game. I was really disapointed when they announced it was cancelled, as I'm a huge fan of that series.

That would be an awesome DLC! But I disagree about this staying Meta exclusive. Meta is the market leader, they don’t need this to be exclusive for them to be relevant. All of us VR lovers need this game to make enough money for Ubisoft for them to start releasing more VR titles, and that’ll be easier if they sell it on more platforms.

Nice review, I agree with many points. But just okay graphics? I’ve played this for four hours and this is one of the very best looking Quest titles ever.

Thanks man! Yeah overall I'd say just okay, simply cause the foveated rendering is playing tricks and sometimes things may get blurry for a few seconds until it catches up. It's possible it was cause I was pushing the headset a lot by recording in 4K while playing though, so I'm happy to hear you think the graphics are great!

​@@VRManCave Well then you can only blame yourself for the bad experience with the graphics since it was you who opted to play under suboptimal conditions that most users are never going to experience. Imo this this one of the best looking games on the quest, easily above the PS3 AC games which is quite impressive for standalone vr.

I play on the Quest 2, and it looks a little rough. From watching videos, it looks way better on the Quest 3. And compared to other VR games like Half-Life Alyx... its just a little clunky. But it doesnt diminish the immersion for me.

Completely agree. I had high expectations and wasn't dissapointed. I'm also very excited that ubisoft are adapting to vr. I'm experienced in vr and did find myself feeling abit sick when your to close to to a wall the screen goes black which was very disorienting. Beautiful game and definitely no regrets on buying quest 3 now

It's been ages since I've heard someone unironically say "good job Ubisoft " It does feel good to know that they haven't fully forgotten about the old settings and maybe this would encourage them to further turn back the clock on what makes an AC gamr

This game is so fun and just jaw dropping when first saw the world. Btw does anyone know if you can go back to missions and search for collectables without having to do main objectives?? (just completed mission 3 but want to find everything in mission 2)

Not sure if you can do that. It’s possible to reload a mission and I guess just search for collectibles and I assume the mission will stay completed if you did that the first time.

I disliked the combat a little so I try and stealth my way through most enemies as that feels so much more fun and cool but the combat feels good sometimes too

I'm guessing you mean free roam. Yes, the maps have free roam, so you can walk around freely anywhere you want.

I'm not happy about that either, but it's bound to happen. Everyone realizes that at some point hardware becomes secondary to content, so all the big players are probably trying to get exclusives for their platforms.

It does! There are obvious visual differences, but it still looks really nice on Quest 2 as well. If you can afford it, I'd say get the Quest 3 for better future-proofing.

The loading screen are long but not that long, i expected worse, the one thing i didn't like and still don't like is the performance, the game must be optimized, it's running at 45 fps or similar and the A.I is turning them into 90/120, which should be fine but it's noticible, i would prefer slighly worse graphics but with real 90 fps, it makes the game stutter and it creates strange warping, i hope they will patch it soon, anyway i really hope that someday we will have a dlc or a sequel when you can play as Edward and sail ships, my god that would be awesome

The graphics are not 💩 at all, not sure what you mean. They're not Cyberpunk 2077 Raytracing levels, obviously, but overall I've really enjoyed the game.

hahaha always at least a comment like this to anything VR. Please just try a Quest 3 before making assumptions. Yes the graphics are not 8K, but the immersion and freedom more than makes up for it, and it's running on a cheap, 100% wireless headset, not on a $4000 PC, so yeah, big difference there.
