The plus side if you save your sibling, Diemos becomes your best fighting partner when you use the Call to Arms command. In fact he can wipe out Elite enemies on his own and deliver a serious beating on Mercenaries.

The actual option is either taking the staff by force or to convince him to give you the staff. He dies either way, because the staff is the only thing keeping him alive after 100 or so more years. Simply, the violent option, or the non-violent option. Killing him wont change the fact that math is a language.

I let nikolaos live. I thought he was my father at the time. I wasnt going to kill my own father. I didnt have to kill or even have a fight with stentor either, since I let nikolaos live. I also let diemos live, since she was my sister after all. i was playing as alexios, so kassandra was diemos. in the end, the whole family was still alive, except alexios' real father.

I played as Alexios, and I killed Kissandra. Alexios, Myrrine, Stentor and Nikolaus all had a fine dinner. It was a little bit sad, but a good ending to me. I couldn't forgive the cult for Phoibe's death and how they fucked up Alexios' family. I tried to save Kissandra many times, but she refused to be saved, so she had to die. One of the best storied ever, on par with The Witcher 3, honestly.

I really hope the next AC game fixes the damage sponge issue. I’m sorry, for a game trying to be as historically accurate as possible and as realistic as possible there is no way any enemy can take that many slashes from a sword or spear and be standing or alive. I miss the Ezio gameplay days. Even Unity (and i know that one gets a lot of hate) had probably the best attack and parry systems to date. I can mostly kill instantly all of the enemies, except elites and bosses. Maybe you did wrong on your build. Your gear matters. Always get a gear with crit chances and crit damages, crit damages while full health, crit chances while full health. Don't put on Total Health and Armor, instead make yourself a melee, range, and elemental resistances, that will matter alot 100 percent Melee resistance will make you literally invulnerable on melee, no damage will be acquire, you'll be OP. Been there.

I love how the Spartans leaves to do their business even if you killed their comannder Stentor in fromt of them. Interesting they didin't attack you after doing that.

It is mutual combat which was legal in ancient times. Especially Greece. Since they both agreed to fight, the soldiers cannot interfere. Since Kassandra won, they can’t kill her. The same thing happened during the Mongol Invasion and the Viking Conquest of England.

Watching lots of AC ending cutscenes and of course everyone talks about who is "better" as who between Alexios and Kassandra as Deimos or Protag, particularly when Deimos kills their mother. I like look at the small things personally! Listen closely and you'll hear them softly whimper "No" after Deimos says "Maybe we should have both died here that day". Kassandra's VA does a better job with the surprised horror with that one. Alexios's VA does a better job with what I would call righteous anger with his cry. I don't know I just hate seeing so much hate for one VA or the other. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. You have to look for nuances of both. At the end of the day, the are both genuinely pleasant to listen to imo.

There are two endings: if Myrrine dies, Kassandra (or Alexios) kills Deimos without a fight and it's just in the cutscene. If Myrrine lives, the fight scene happens and you have to work to kill Deimos.
