The most irritating thing about this trophy is the fact that it is indistinguishable what isn't "defogged". Absolute BS trophy.

You still have to swim around the islands. Uncover all the painting/shading in the corners. I uncovered all the sub regions, but took ship around bottom of messara and Phephkas and uncovered trophy. Hope this helped!

Saved me because I unfoged everything and those small islands even though where un fogged didn't count until I stepped on them

What helped me a lot was turning off all icons on the map (ps4: toggle with L2) and then zoom halfway in and go systematically over the whole map. If you covered all islands there is probably some region undiscovered somewhere else. Trust me you can miss it very easily.

what i hate most about this trophy is all you need is a simple checkmark by the name of the place to indicate that you been there. cheers ubisoft.

for me it was the island below samos. it looked like I had it explored, because the name was showing up on the map, but i apparently hadn't.

Anyone else struggling to differentiate volcano smoke and fog? Not sure if that's holding me back or not

Kradia isle was the lone island that eluded my trophy. Although it was defogged, i never stepped foot on the island. Once i got onto it, trophy popped right away. Trophy description is kind of misleading.

Did you try all the spots I mentioned by chance plus the top of the mountains? It's unfortunately just very very specific by area's going through the entire campaign also helps uncover area's too hope that helps a bit.

I don't believe so but it gives you travel points so could be helpful in that regard.

About this trophy do I have to travel everywhere for order to get this trophy and when I get on the island do I just discover it or do I have to walk around it

It usually pops right away but you technically do have to discover mostly everything. You probably don't need the entire ocean but if it doesn't pop after all islands and lands I would just sail the sea too. This achievement drives you mad but when it pops it's sooo rewarding.

293 hours later, and I still haven't gotten this or the "Child of poseidon" achievment... I've done every mission, fort, camp, cave, etc... lol Hopefully I'll take a closer look at the islands and get it. Thanks!

I promise you it's not bugged just precise make sure to uncover all the ocean too. I would suggest pausing my video in some parts and taking a closer look at your map to just scan you might be missing a very small area

I didn't get everything but every area I mentioned should help the map defog going to them atleast may help. I noticed majority of people have missed the small islands or mountains. I hope that helps out a bit more 😎

Try walking on everything even if it takes a few hours print a map out and cross it off one by one. I thought mine was bugged to but got it by calmly going to everything 😅

If you have ? And its fogged then yes I recommend atleast walking by them and around them. If it's a mission you usually don't need to do it because defoging the map has nothing to do with the ? Unless it's grey and undiscovered.

I don't recall having to much trouble uncovering it it was a small Island I was missing the size of a peddle.

They can help uncover the map for missions etc but I don't believe you need to get them all. It couldn't hurt though your going to want to see where everything is at anyhow 😅
