I'm a woman and would play as Alexios (or any male variant in the AC series) over a female character...without hesitation. Regardless if it was for the story, romance options, etc. Just feels more wholesome that way. Plus I like seeing Alexios flirt with women, reminds me of my favorite assassin, Ezio! A charmer he was!

And thematically it makes sense with the order attempting to raise the child just as the cult “raised” Deimos. Although I still feel the Order would of done a better job at it, but that’s like comparing getting shot or stabbed. Both are going to be unfortunate.

This dlc is based on the protection of a father over his wife and son. So this story fits Alexios better. Likewise, the main story is the same, a brother who wants to protect his sister and mother from cultists and sects and fights against them. A completely masculine style. That's why I play the game as Alexiox. I can't have the same enjoyment as Kassandra.

Neema has stronger personality than Natakas, like although Natakas is kind and gentle and all and everything is nice but he doesn't fit for someone who had faced the many faces of death and escaped all of them, he is who should be hardened by the tragedies of the death of his mother and siblings and if not better but they were eluding the storm chasing them after by non-stop hiding and running away from one place to another not settling not even for a while. On the other hand Neema is a female therefore there is always a charming side, a courtesy side of the female that will get in your blood. So that it can be quite easy to convince the audience about the kind and gentle side of her personality.

Most promotional material: Alexios Mother/Son relationship as central (story and narrative makes more sense then mother daughter):Alexios Who looks older (canon character is 31 and younger sibling is 24): Alexios Greek heroes: All male Character is descendant of the bloodline of a powerful warrior king (male): Suits Alexios Literally Spartan (Spartans were a warrior culture focused on the men and battle):Alexios Captain of a crew of sailors (which are all male): Makes more sense for Alexios Player preference: 2/3 played with Alexios, even though market research was done and they expected for more to choose Kassandra Alexios fits every single narrative box for this story to make sense and Kassandra people's only cope is some book and that 'Alexios voice actor bad lol'. tldr; Alexios is cano

Nope, just Neema if you play Alexios. Or Natakas if you play Kassandra. There is freedom in choice, but even so, it’s AC. So there has to be some decisions out of the players control. Such as this. Sometimes it’s better for the story. Imagine Geralt finishing off his story with a prostitute he met regularly at the Passiflora lol. Or ditching Yen and Triss to live with Margarita. It’s a fun idea to be able to do that, but it wouldn’t be right in the story. So as with this, it’s how the story is being told.
