I actually recogniced some of these mirages as things that are written in the bible: the flaming bush is the form that god took when he was speaking to moses and the fire was warm but it didn't burn ,the one in that the man rams his staff into the ground and it becomes a snake is a refrence to when moses was performing all types of miracles to free his people ,I'm guessing that the one when flies (or whatever they're called) attack you is a refrence to when moses was cursing egypt to free his people

Locusts is the word you are looking for, Ghost. I believe it was one of the Ten Plagues God sent unto Egypt because of Pharoah's defiant refusal to release his people (the Israelites). So it makes sense to feature some of them in this game. I thought it was a nice touch.

It was a different one and was after the Red Sea, as they were looking for the promise land they were attacked. The battle raged on for a long time but as long as Moses kept his hands lifted they would win but the fight continued for so long and his hands were getting tired so some people helped keep his hands lifted. God granted him some power but it was through God that he could do any of it, so you’re partly right. It was God doing it but it also sort of wasn’t. It’s weird to explain.

2020, I went back to play it because of vallaha and... Its still amazes me They didn't overdo it with the mystical stuff as things like this (mirages) happen in real life too It just adds to the world and the mystical... Mysterious vibe, like the assassin's are themselves You could play things over and over and see things over and over but they will still have that "awe" effect when it randomly does happen! It's amazing It makes sense, ezio and renaissance hits those notes, and so does bayek and ancient eqypt, they just have that element

I recently started playing and the game sets you right in the desert after leaving Siwa. A few seconds later I already had a female ghost-like figure sitting in the saddle behind bayek and I heard some woman whispering, so I was really confused. Another time I saw a flickering bandit on a horse who decided to attack me. I was so stressed out because a few times it seemed like I couldn't hit him and I would just die in the desert from a hallucination. The last thing I saw was the red shawl in a sand storm and I tried to follow it but lost it in the sand. I really love this game for these details.

I've seen the burning bush 3 times, the raining bugs, the lotus, the meteors(I didn't even know it was a mirage lol) but the weirdest one was near Giza.There was a guy running and I chased him and the further he ran the louder sounds of war got and ominous voices started shouting, then a bandit ran out of nowhere and attacked me, wasn't sure if it was part of the mirage or just coincidence.

If you use the photo thing before the image fades I found it makes it easy to see what it is And I came across one in the dessert at the bottom of the map and a boy was pointing in a direction so I followed and it took me to a tomb of sorts the one with the mirrors and eventually getting that weird dialogue

I was able to get the pointing guy several times in succession. After about 6 times of him appearing and "directing" me somewhere, I found myself at the edge of a cliff.
