The Series S should have absolutely no issues running the New Hellblade 2 at either 1440p 30fps and or 1080p 60fps as I would be surprised if it doesn’t have a 60fps performance mode even if the resolution is around 1080p or lower as it’s Still impressive what a $299 dollar Machine is capable of delivering and for all those gamers who still have 1080p television sets or monitors it’s a Fantastic little System !

The RPG elements were really balanced which is why I couldn't get into Odyssey. No one hit kill, no one hit headshots, and slowing the story down to grind to just continue the story, no thanks but in Origins you didn't have any of that. One of my favorites.

So many comments not understanding the fact this is not a Native PS5 app, it's just the PS4 Pro app running with a unlocked framerate to achieve 60fps. The same for the Xbox consoles, just unlocked framerates. The Xbox One X ran games in higher resolutions than the PS4 Pro, that's why the Series X is running the game at higher resolution than the PS5.

@@S-17games there's a difference between a next gen Patch and a next gen Upgrade. When you get a next gen Upgrade the PS5 needs to download a new game app and that app has PS5 label on it on the homescreen to indicate that it's a PS5 native game. Assassin's Creed Origins still has the PS4 label on it when you see the game in your home menu.

Eu gosto muito do Origins, foi o jogo que me fez voltar à franquia após o 2, já que a Ubisoft só lançava jogos que eram uma cópia com mudanças sutis em relação ao anterior. O Origins tem uma boa história, bons personagens, a ambientação do Egito é fantástica, a exploração também é muito boa, e ainda se menteve fiel à lore da franquia. O sistema de combate ainda não estava bom como o do Valhalla (que de resto, é péssimo), fica bem repetitivo com o tempo, o jeito é ficar mudando de armas. Mas no geral, excelente jogo, revisitei após a atualização, continua fantástico, a 60fps só melhora. Excelente trabalho, gosto muito do que é feito neste canal. Saudações, continuem com este magnífico trabalho.

Numa competição juntando gameplay + história, o Origins é meu assassins creed favorito, e olha que joguei todos desde o 1o na época que ele lançou kkkkk O Bayek é um protagonista muito empático. Desde os primeiros minutos de jogo, eu, que não conhecia o personagem, já comecei a me importar com ele e com as motivações dele. Pode até não ser tão carismático quanto o Ezio, mas ele é uma pessoa boa e você sente isso ao longo do jogo

Pra mim a mudança de gameplay também foi incrível. Amei o novo combate, a nova forma de ambientação, a customização de personagem, achei que tudo isso coube muito bem dentro da história. A dificuldade do combate te faz buscar uma abordagem mais stealth, e não tem problema nenhum nisso. É simplesmente o próprio jogo te ensinando como quer ser jogado, mas sem te impedir de jogar como vc quer, já que dá pra sair na porrada mesmo assim. De fato o combate ainda é um pouco cru, se comparado aos mais novos, mas esse jogo ainda tinha uma história relevante e importante no contexto geral então ne kkkkkk

I believe the game had a dynamic resolution in the xone. should be around 900p or something, but I think it was capped on 1080p. the only thing they did with the update was remove the 30fps cap so that the game is running in 60 now. the dinamic res stayed and I think it's why is running in the previous cap, 1080p, and it's keeping like this for most of the time. when it drops (if it does so) at least the frame rate is stable. the series s have the potential to run this game 4k60 tho. still, it doesn't make that much of a difference when you switch from 1080p to 4k

A vantagem do tempo de carregamento no Xbox é simples de entender. A implementação de retrocompatibilidade da Microsoft é muito mais avançada que a da Sony. A japonesa só começou a investir nessa geração porque a demanda estava alta e a competição provou os benefícios. Enquanto a gigante americana vem investindo e aprimorando essa técnica já tem mais de uma década. Porém é inegável que o Quick Resume é um feature sensacional do Xbox que em breve deve estar chegando ao Windows 11 também :)

Por exemplo, o PS3 Slim e Super Slim perderam essa capacidade porque o hardware de PS1 e PS2 foi removido deles pra cortar custos. A retrocompatibilidade do PS5 para jogos de PS4 é totalmente baseada em Software, assim como a do Xbox e nesse sentido a Microsoft tem sim muuuuuuuuito mais experiência que a Sony. Não só em tempo de desenvolvimento, mas em investimento monetário. O valor de mercado da Sony em si em sua inteireza como conglomerado (PlayStation, Música, Áudio, Smartphones e Televisões) é a quantia de dinheiro que a Microsoft investe anualmente pra criar novas soluções de software, amigão. Não se esqueça que a Sony tem um valor de mercado de pouco mais de 200 bilhões e a Microsoft, quase 2 TRILHÕES.

My idea back then is to just use it as a secondary console since I am more of a PS guy. Instant regret. Looks like crap on a 4K 55 inch OLED. I was lucky to secure one series x just months later. Plug in the series x and is a night a day difference. Hate reviews defending and actually recommending the series S in anyway. Tbh I rather spend 200 more for way better specs and memory. In a long run, the series s is not worth it, casual or not. People just fall into marketing

So this update is MUCH better than the Odyssey update! I remember the Odyssey had their resolution cut down after the patch - it was worse than on the One X and Pro and had dynamic resolution dropping well below 4K on the Series X. And there were also fps drops on all consoles, especially the Series consoles - which not in AC Origins, and it's very good! I do not understand people who write that the PS5 version is very bad - at first I thought that the fps was bad there, but it's not. Even the graphics settings are the same on all versions, even the Series S! The game outputs the maximum resolution from PS4 Pro to PS5, and this is 1620p, Series X outputs the maximum resolution of One X, that is full 4K - that's the whole reason. Yes, 4K is much better than 1620p, but stable fps and the same settings are nice and playable! They could improve the version like For Honor by adding 4K/60 and better graphics, but unfortunately we didn't get it - so we're content with what we have 😇

Puedo decirte con propiedad porque tengo la series S y la Ps5: en mi TV he probado el juego y la versión de ps5 se ve mejor. Sobre todo lo notas por la mayor resolución y otros aspectos como el color, las texturas, el brillo, sombras etc.. La versión de series S que fue la primera que probé va muy bien, fluida sin bajas de frame, pero el juego no luce tan espectacular como play 5, imagino que con la series X pasa algo similar, debe verse un poco mejor que en ps5 debido a su mayor resolución. Estas diferencias solo las he podido notar probándolo por cuenta propia, en el vídeo de KZbin es difícil apreciar las diferencias.

It has already been updated for both frame rate and graphics. Now, it's 54GB game(without DLC). A very few new 3A RPG games are larger than this size. So Series S performs better than your thought.

Not to mention that current games, when run on SSD, tend to be smaller in size because it's unnecessary to duplicate the data on an SSD like you do on a regular hard rive. In short, the fact that the game is larger does not mean much, and no, the XSS is not "better than we thought". The game remains Xone/PS4 software.

Also humor is lacking in Origins. You guys are totally wrong. Sales and IGN ratings are much better for Odyssey than Origins. Odyssey is another level or complete version of Origins. If Odyssey is not called "Assassin's Creed Odyssey" but "Odyssey", fans will even give higher ratings.

It's a shame Sony release the PS4 Pro a bit early. If they waited just a little longer the PS4 Pro could of had a 4K player placed in it , but they didn't and also Release their first 4K BluRay player along side it so they could make money back for each Pro sold. Mean while Microsoft waited a little over a Year after the Pro dropped to roll out their One X ( which had a 4K player). It's because of this why PS4 games can't be easily patched to "Native 4K" and why they run at checkerboard 1440p or 1665p. Edit: But the good new is it only take about a Month for a Dev team to make a "mini Remaster" of a game so the PS5 official release run in true 4K. ( But the backwards compatibility version will still be capped at 1440p/1665p)
