When I was younger and this game came out, I just missed Ezio's family theme from this game. I was dissapointed... BUT NOW! I just say, this theme is perfect for the game, for the plot. And this song (especially of this version, I have to say) gives the true feeling, when Ezio is entering the secret library in Masayaf Fortress and there is nothing, just a skeleton... A skeleton of a great man, the first assassin's body, who was the first main charachter we met in the series, Altair. And Ezio's word for him will never leaves my mind, just... I just can not imagine anything else for that moment. And I want to join some other commenters below, this is the part of the true AC age, what I and I guess many of us lived through. I do not want to criticize the current games, but I feels like Ubisoft doing something (or many things) wrong. I am a big fan of scandinavia, vikings, Northen Europe, but AC Vallhala did not met my hopes, just like the few games before that one. I missing the old story driving from the games, the gameplay experience and many other thing. These games makes the series an RPG or something, what I could not imagine for a true AC game. Well, long story short, slow changing is good, but this one was too fast for me and make this bad feeling inside, Ubisoft just on a wrong way, and make them games for the numbers will be alright, when we see the sells or statistics. If someone on an other opinion, I understand, I play the new ones too, but I do not feel the same long time since AC Unity. I am really sorry, if I was too long, but it is the first time, when I write this for others, whos maybe understand my point. Just hope, we will see an other days of the old glory of the assassins! So, hoods up, hidden blades attached and find the truth outside in the world. (Sorry for my english, I tried my best)

Well, there are four notes of Ezio's family in AC Revelations. During the ending scene, when Ezio sees Altair's dead corpse and says ''Requiescat in pace, Altair'' then listen carefully. You'll hear four notes of Ezio's family.

The era the gaming world peaked! I was around 17 when this game came out. Loved this game. Remember the first time I watched the cinematic trailer. I remember being excited for E3 and the VGA’s every year to see what new game trailers would debut…now I’m 29 going on 30 in a few months. I still play some games, but I can sadly say I’ve become numb to the gaming world. Nothing makes me feel the way gaming used too. I still play with my same friends, minus a few who grew past it. Wherever you gamers of this era are, never forget these days. These were the days of simpler times. The days of story driven games. The days you could play a story game separate from what your friends were playing and still be in a party talking. The days of TRUE gaming. “Requiescat in Pace"

Yessss, absolutely! The original Revelations theme has always had that weight to it. That grief, that nostalgia, that melancholy. But now, slowed down? I can only feel loneliness. That haunting voice echoing throughout the walls on the abandoned castle, trying to fill the void but not quite succeeding. And there's Ezio, surrounded in silence, in centuries of history, constantly surrounded by his friends, but always alone. God, I love this ost.
