Of course it does, it's because the games pre Origins were base on Animations and not hit boxes. So while it may look better, the gameplay is ridiculously shallow

Back when AC games legit makes you feel like a total badass and not getting yourself killed by a fucking villager and Make the Enemies artificially difficult by making them absurdly Sword spongy just cus of a stupid lvl scaling system. Sure the Older games are Dead easy but I very much Pick them over artificially difficulty all day...Only From Soft knows how to make an ACTUAL Difficult games that's equally hard and rewarding even tho,they aren't my cup of tea. Glad Ashraf is back and he confirmed there won't be such BS stuff like Lvl scaling and the game's Combat will more Akin to AC4 while the Challegne will be more Akin to Unity which gives me huge hopes.

Ayy lmao the endgame of odyssey literally consists of you spamming the same 2 abilities over and over again my friend. Building a character means nothing, it all ends the same way. This is assassins creed, not world of Warcraft.

In the old AC games the AI was so stupid and you could defend everything and kill with one counter attack. How this is fun? Sounds like a game for kids. There's no challenge at all.

If you are on a streak (killed one enemy) and have two enemies around you, you must direct the left analogic towards an enemy and spam the tool button (pistol or rope dart) at the same time. I prefer spam the button because it's hard to synchronize the two actions. The gap of time is so quickly to generate this tool combo. Here on youtube there's a video that shows a tutorial of this.

Equip pistols as your tool of choice. When the counter icon appears press B (counter button) then press Y (tool button) immediately

Hey man seen your comment and whenever you lead a chain kill and you got to kill the next guy instead of pressing X (on xbox atleast) you hold down the x button and have your LS pointed towards a different guard that isnt the one you're currently attacking and it should work. Ps only works on the combo weapons like how brother hood has the sword and handgun combo or the dagger and throwing knife combo. Annnddd yes you can do it in brother hood to.

I have finally done with black flag with 100% everything So iwanted to ask if rogue is worth the effort I mean i have put 55hrs in AC4 and 145hrs in odyseey and i have heard rogue has too much pointless collectibles (which i really hate to do in games) So what do u think?

The story is very short but it brings the ac franchise something different which will make you understand thw flaws of the colonial brotherhood and the perspective of a templar it also links ac3 black flag and unity smoothly so it is really worth a try

Rogue wound up becoming my favorite in the series. The collection aspect isn’t nearly as bad as some make it sound, the modern part was engaging, and the combat was consistently fun for me. Plus coming from 3 and 4 the story has a couple of “OH DAMN” moments that you’ll want to play through.
