whenever there's a video game with a black protagonist, how come they always hip-hop up the musical score? I like hip-hop, but it's just something i noticed recently. I personally would have liked a more traditional sort of musical score in a game based in edo japan.

Having Yasuke in it is ridiculous in a way. He wasn’t a combatant in real life. He was a personal caretaker of Nobunaga. He also writes Japanese in that game. Meaning Yasuke would learn these things around the same time it would that a person three years with constant practice. Yasuke was only in Japan for 15 months.

I'm not paying attention to the negative comments and controversy about this game. After watching a 13-minute gameplay video, I think the game looks beautiful and the combat is great. It may be similar to Ghost of Tsushima, but many games borrow ideas from others. The stealth gameplay is exceptional, and I believe this game will be fantastic.

Yasuke most likely trained in India as they had a tradition of training African slaves as hired soldiers and bodyguards. Some scholars believe Yasuke was sold to the Jesuits as a bodyguard for the chief missionary.

The landscapes and environment looks amazing and I liked her gameplay, Assassins are basically Ninja so her gameplay is pretty much on point, yet the only reference to the Assassins are her Hidden blades and the "In the shadows to serve the light" quote Yasuke says. the cutscene looks from 10 years ago, i get that this is supposedly still a work in progress but even so.

It releases in November they will definitely do some polishing until then. Also keep in mind this was streamed from a live event. The quality is going to do it a disservice. Not saying it's visually the best thing ever, it does look better in person though. Star Wars Outlaws had some slow renders going on in its gameplay though. Both games look good, regardless. Besides, we all know games don't release finished anymore, no matter who makes them.
