Ubisoft always uses real places, historical events and people in their games. Yasuke was a real person in Japanese history and was the first black samurai.

He was first non-Japanese warrior figure and a real person. They are not Japanese so don’t know the character is based off a real person. No one in Japanese complained about this because they know there was a Black warrior that played a part in the creation of Japan . In Japan they have many statues of this historical real black warrior.

@@dingdongdang3944 what you are doing is projecting western racism because you don’t feel comfortable finding out that a black person has more of Japanese history. How does a missionary, who is the best warrior in all of Japan become a servant, but went to key battles in the unification of Japan. You know your own logic is crap, but you believe in the western agenda that all,black people were slaves in olden days due to western lie to justify colonialism and slavery which meant erasing the black history globally. Idiots like you think every black person in the past was a slave.

It not representation to have a black samurai figure, it is actually Japanese history. Yasuke was an African warrior in Japan who was the best warrior of the guy who united and created Japan. Notice how no one Japanese was offended by a black character in the game, because they know the real history. It is white boys getting mad because they don’t know Japanese history and think a black character in the game is just being woke, because they don’t know the character is inspired by a real person in Japanese history
