WB Games and Rockstar should take notes from this, the fact that Arkham Knight and RDR2 are still 30fps on next gen consoles is just embarrassing. Pretty surprising to see Ubisoft getting a W for once considering how bad they've been doing recently, hope they give a 4k 60fps update on AC Unity for the PS5 version next.

Rockstar will likely remaster it for this gen or next gen and sell it as a 10 dollar upgrade. If it's made for next gen then probably a full priced game. I'd prefer that instead of just 60fps added.

@TJTRIZZ i have it on pc and console and I can really say that a remaster is worth it for this game. It's amazing on a decent pc. I just highly doubt that rockstar will make the current game 60fps and then remaster it later. It will be one or the other and realistically it will be remastered. They will get gta6 out and rolling before they do anything else though.

This is cool but let’s be honest. We all wanted unity. Edit: just to clarify. I don’t mean just the 60fps boost I also mean 4k resolution since it’s been stuck on 900p since it’s released on both consoles. Only way to get 60 frames is to have an Xbox or a disc version of unity that’s buggy as hell.

Those 60fps patches should really be implemented to past AC games ages ago, as right now I've finished most of them (except for the RPG ones). Still, it's nice for them to not forgetting to update the past games, even with slow speed. Now, all we need is either a 60fps remaster of AC1 or a remake. In terms of atmosphere, nothing can beat AC1 for me.

I am testing it out, and this is nice to have, but to caveat that by saying that it is the bare minimum and the touting of 4k isn't here as they're taking what they already had with the PS4 Pro patch that boosts it to around 1440p checkerboarding. So, it looks clean enough, but the jagged edges on things as you move around still stand out. The main improvement comes from the 60fps. However, the cloth is still at half the rate, so it looks a bit weird. So, a welcome improvement that will probably make me play through it again, but it's like they went in and just turned a dial to make it run better and called it a day.

As a huge syndicate fan, I hate this trailer, because it's designed to reinforce myths that harm Jacob's reputation. This trailer didn't show Jacob in his assassin outfit, despite the assassin outfit being on the box and every single artwork for the game. Thus trailer didn't show Jacob do any stealth, despite Jacob being the character who had most of the stealth assassination levels. This trailer didn't show Jacob use any of the iconic moves from the franchise past, despite the fact Jacob uses these moves all the time in the game. But of course this trailer shows evie in her assassin outfit, with her hood up, using the hidden blade for stealth, and doing the iconic moves from the franchise past. This trailer is just trying to paint Jacob is a gangster and evie as an assassin, but the truth is Jacob is a assassin who's also a gangster, and evie is a scholar who's also an assassin.
