Loved the first AC and the Ezio trilogy, after playing Unity I was pretty much done with AC games and it was the last one I played, tho I have to say the parkour in unity was the best.

the problem with the new games is that they give you the option to play it like an rpg. you can play as an assassin for the entirety of the valhalla campain but just because it as rpg mechanics its not an assassins creed game anymore lol. even odyssey as good assassin mechanics, theres plenty of videos showcasing that on youtube.

It is definitely more than just mechanics with the newer games. Odyssey and valhalla just feel way to different and literally do just feel they put assassin's creed on it to get suckers like me ot buy it. Like the whole assassin's aspect takes a huge step back to the point you forget they are there for the most part in valhalla. None just doesn't exist since odyssey is like 200 years before origins. And then you got it being way to fantasy like..yes you got the pieces of eden, but those were use sparingly and had explaanation as to why they exist. since the civilization before us was suppose to be advance and were base on the actual theory scientist came up years ago.
