It was fun infiltrating his house in Syndicate, when you heard the other Assassins talk about Edward as this older Master Assassin. We only got to play as Edward in his early 20s, but he was murdered at the age of 45. He had a good 15 or so years as an actual member of the Assassins.

(When I say HIS I'm talking about the difference in Haythems motives vs the Templars motives, which are different if you played the game.

Pirates were very agile and strong from the VERY hard work sailing ships of that era, working rigging, sails, cannons, on ships and always climbing masts, nets etc and had to be able to be fast during naval battle. Also they would be excellent swordsman and great at combat. So there is no reason a pirate would lack the agility or fighting prowess to keep up with and fight an Assassins lol.

Black flag is one of the greatest stories ever told, easily the greatest ac stories ever told. Every time a friend and I brought up the ac universe I always insisted they played black flag bc there is no better ac game. That's said, Chris Hemsworth is a solid no from me. The story isn't a marvel movie, like I'd imagine some lames out there want it to be. The story is raw and gripping.youd have to be an idiot who slept on this game for so long only to now realize how brilliant it was to even suggest something as retarded as this being a fit for Chris. I digress ... Sadly this story isn't even about making a movie but rather a comic book that continues the story. Which some how is even lamer than suggesting Chris Hemsworth should play the lead.

I think the reason why Edward was so good at using the hidden blade is because he was simply improvising to keep his cover and actually had no clue what he was doing. As for his parkour skills, well he is a sailor and spent a lot of time climbing rigging and loosing sails, that's my theory anyway.

He is already skilled enough to take down hoards of highly trained guards. Taking down ppl who specialize in stealth over combat isn’t too far fetched. Edward is also part isu which helps a lot

Where smiting was common, but expensive, he had almost no money, that's why he asked the merchant dude for some and think about it, why would you keep some broken wrist knife thingy when you don't know how to use it, and probably won't need it. This game was a journey. It was like spending a segment of time of your life with a best friend you probably will never meet in the future. I completed every last bit this game had to offer before going to the last mission. When I killed Torres, I was like this is it. And then the cutscene started playing. Anne singing the song, Edward seeing his friends who are no longer and then meeting his daughter, Jennifer, made me break down into tears. It was an extraordinary kind of happiness I was feeling, that I had never gotten before. I really miss those times man. This game is amazing

Black flag is my favourite game personally. I’ve played every AC game but nothing compares to putting yourself in the shoes of being a captain of you’re ship and crew. It’s a unreal game and I have to play through it again last time I did was 2 years ago maybe 3 but still.. 😂

Two days ago I decided to give Black Flag a shot since Rogue was my first AC game on the PS3 nearly 10 years ago (which I liked a lot). So far I also played Valhalla on my PS5 now but somehow Black Flag is so similar to Rogue in its mechanics that I prefer it already. The story, the design of the open world, the upgradable ship and everything about it makes so much fun! Even in 2023!

1:52 In regards to parkour, AC3, Origins (cuz Bayek is already an assassin guard thingy at the start), and Black Flag are the only AC games that have us start as non-assassins and give legitimately good reasons as to why we can parkour or have assassin abilities. The worst game that starts us off as a non-assassin and still gives us assassin-level parkour is Unity, and I mean that because Arno has to climb to the top of a tower and balance on like a needle to synchronize and then do a leap of faith or something to get down and I remember going "BRO HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS"
