if they’re not going to add ng+ at least add replay-able siege battles with a cool boss fight at the end. they did it good in odyssey and kept players from really being bored.

Okay so I believe you have to make a new game save. Then you have to play through it until you reach England. From there you have to build Valka's Hut so you'll have to go out raiding the monasteries. It takes 6 raids to get to Settlement level 3 and get her hut built. Then I believe you can go to the tree and start Restless Dreams where it will take you to Svartalfheim. After that you play through it all until you are looking for the first shelter. Ur inventory should be accessible now and u should hopefully see your gear at a high level. I haven't done this yet but it's my assumption.

You start a new story in ac valhalla, not I ragnarok. Then, when your settlement is like lvl 3, I think. Then eivor has the vision for ragnarok, and they say I should lay by the tree. You go in and start the story and you fight surtr, and after all that, when you get to free roam it gives you everything then. Then you leave with all the power points, but none of the Xtra armor.

I have done this before. Yes you can go back, yes you keep your gear but you only keep the skill points you earned not the free 340 skill points. The save file will say boosted save and won't get mixed up with your other saves

It requires dawn of Ragnarok DLC expansion yes. You will also get a couple of free runes which get given to you too from the boosted experience. It's also good that the save file says BOOSTED in yellow so you don't get confused with your first playthrough 👍

Some of the objectives of the game are to play to get the weapons and the gears, and if you already had that by the first playthru then there are conflicts in the NG+. But, we want to play in a nightmare mode to challenge yourself with cools stuffs we got from the first playthru...Ehh...I can see some weapons and gears only available at the end of the game which made them not the best because any other weapons or gears can do as much to beat the enemies (they are only best in the early stages not at the end).

Getting a perfect "NG+ start" in Valhalla on a legal way is not possible with the current game status. First, what is preferred for an NG+? Starting at the beginning in the game with the first quest, nothing explored, owning your end game armor and weapons full with runes and maximum upgraded, skills and abilities at max, mastery points available, mount and raven ready to use, plenty of resources and crafting material to upgrade your stuff..... Keep in mind that at the start of the game, there is a lot of goodies not yet available and not possible to use/call because it is not yet played free or activated. If you are really in need to start Valhalla all over from the beginning with an NG+, then you have to handle the non legal way. Everybody knows there are some tools on the internet that are helpful in manipulating your game status. Just for fun because i finished Valhalla 100% ending with OP settings, I did this challenge to see how far i can manage in getting a NG+ savegame file with all the preferred things i mentioned. It took me a whole afternoon, but i managed to get an almost 100% NG+ situation. Fully geared with your end game max armor and weapons full with big runes, maximum quiver and hp , nothing explored, and 1st quest ready (Honor bound in Rygjafylke). Following this exercise, now I understand why Ubisoft doesn't create an NG+ simply because it's not possible with the game mechanics and the whole storyline containing new resources played free after concluding objectives.

About "Ubisoft doesn't create an NG+ simply because it's not possible with the game mechanics and the whole storyline containing new resources played free after concluding objectives." : If I'm correct they did it for Far Cry 6 which has the same rewards mechanic after concluding objectives (and also same chests openning rewards on World map).The only and maybe the exclusive difference being : levelled gear (which should not be an insurmountable task : it hasn't been one for AC-Origin's and AC-Odyssey)

@bugsenstock2023 Indeed, you are correct about these mechanics, and that's what I found out after this challenge I did to create a NG+ from a build 1.6.2 new game . But the result is perfect for those who want to do the whole storyline again from the start with your end game configuration.

@@_Ezekiel_ It's nice you could have the perfect NG+, There is and ther will be nothing available for PS user (aswell no "workaround" for PS users that do not own the DoR DLC, ... if the DoR "workaround" really works)

NG+ is not a new concept to Ubisoft or Assassin's Creed. They can integrate it properly. It just requires more than the bare minimum effort.

So basically a boosted save if there's a way to transfer to the main game. It's certainly an alternative if it actually works and stays around. Not ideal but something at least. We need to do some testing.

I can't remember exactly but I think it might be in the load game screen. You can choose either real world or dor when you go to load the boosted file

To me, you can’t wake up since you have not made it to England and created Ravensthorpe. BTW, saw a video of yours from a year ago about NG+ and you were spot on then with what is happening now.

I did this when the game first came out i farmed the legendary bobcat for a couple hours at the beginning on the game before it was patched and made a save

Hmm it's easier for a PC player like me to 'kind of' play NG+. I use cheat engine to get all the armor(including all the helix sets, because, fuck you Ubisoft) as soon the very 1st quest is over. Bypass the upgrade requirements, level up 20x by killing a few deer or something and auto assign the 500+ skill points. Boom my new character is the same as my vanilla save. Only thing I miss are the abilities. But lol I prefer it that way so there's something worth looting in the world.

Sadly not as much as we hoped. Yet i've put in nearly 300 hours purily for the story and love for greek mythology; in my eyes, despite some content not meeting some expansions there is still so much to do this has been one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a very very long time

@@steveradroach9101 I think that this glitch has been fixed (the one with Valkyrie dive), here a gltch that has been "Paywall fixed" = the Distorded Mount is Asgard = fixed exclusively for DoR DLC owners, for the ones who have the Basic Game and even the ones who have paid full price for the "Ultimate pre-order Edition" = there won't be any fix for this : this is the official response .
