Now this is the kind of stuff I wish to see in future AC games. The level of detail from the developers and the level of work the players did just to complete this puzzle. Now that you think of all new AC game names I think there's a hidden meaning behind them Origins as in start of idea of brotherhood/hidden ones Odyssey as in journey of how order of ancients evolved Valhalla as in end point to order of ancients and starting of Templar order. We'll probably see birth of modern day " assassin's " in next game. I could be wrong tho.

I really love Valhalla. Many have been bashing on it, it's absurd. I love Origins, Odyssey and this. These are definitely some of my favorite games. I'm such a fan of RPGs so this direction they've been taking and sticking with what works is so amazing. I really think Valhalla may be the longest game ever lol but it doesn't feel grindy whatsoever since even the smallest stories are interesting.

I just completed the game and the whole plot is MINDBLOWING. The fact that Isu are reincarnation of the Norse Gods; Odin, Loki, etc. The fact that they brought all these weapons out during the war to fight the humans, in which they lost and had them scattered all over; Odin's Spear, Thor's Hammer, Arthur's Excalibur & Noden's Arc. The fact that all these was successfully built up from all AC franchise, especially the link with Odyssey.

But we didn’t. The only thing these guys needed help with was the Singapore part and even that they probably would have figured out on their own eventually. Every other part they did by themselves. You literally have to translate from the collectors edition box to be able to crack this. I personally think that in game mysteries should have in game solutions not ones you need a collectors edition to solve.

This is WILD! Great group work. It’s a great reminder of why I love this series. Developers putting in this kind of work and thought will keep me a fan. I have been wondering about the proper in game and proper story way to obtain Thor’s hammer. I know the where and how from other videos, but there was only mention of Thor’s hammer on Layla’s laptop. I thought maybe that clue would lead somewhere.

It’s a pretty impressive feat. Interestingly I would suggest that it would be solvable without knowledge of the Isu language and just with knowledge of various Arthurian related stories. The game even notes in some a number of codex issues about how all the legends (which I would suggest would be game shorthand for Isu) in England are linked to Arthur. Firstly the obvious 2 are Excalibur (Arthur’s sword) and lakes are also something of a recurring theme in Arthurian legend with the lady of the lake being a recurring character and Avalon thought to be an island on a lake in some interpretations. As a side note Avalon was said to be an island of healing and One version of a Noden like figure has the (god) figure maimed in battle losing his hand until being later healed (at a stretch you could say that the bow was a historic form of longARM but it’s a bit of a stretch) as for the timeframe of when to use Excalibur there was in the 1960s a historical fiction novel released about King Arthur called “sword at sunset” which would give you the time. I could probably unearth more links if I put some thought into it, this is mostly off the top of my head. Don’t get me wrong this approach would make it difficult to solve the puzzle (especially as there are a number of islands in lakes in England in the game) I’m mostly observing that the puzzle is theoretically solvable without needing the physical special edition version of the game which is rather impressive. I wouldn’t have thought to have done it myself either. You would also still need Excalibur’s flavour text in the game most likely as well as stumble across or be told about the indestructible ore node (and not write it off as a weird bug)

Great video. And while it is cool that all that stuff is hidden in images and uses the ISU language... It also kinda sucks that they sold out of collectors editions almost instantly, which then makes it that all of us who couldn't get their hands on the collectors edition, had to rely on the internet and these kinds of videos to find the bow and appreciate the cool hidden messages. Which is kinda lame, as there would have been NO WAY for me to figure that out all by myself. But I do love all these videos and how you guys work together. Thanks for showing us all of this!
