Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Set in the 9th century, the player controls Eivor, a Viking raider and Assassin during the Viking invasion of Britain. The game is scheduled for release in late 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, and is to be Ubisoft's launch title for the next-generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
In Valhalla, the player takes on the role of Eivor, a Viking raider who leads their fellow Vikings from Norway in raids and battles against King Aelfred and the four Anglo-Saxon medieval kingdoms of England - Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia - near the end of the 9th century as part of the Viking invasion of Britain. Additionally, the game will continue to tie into the modern-day events related Abstergo Industries' researcher Layla Hassan, who was featured in both Origins and Odyssey, and to the Templars and Assassins that have tied the series together.
Players will have the choice of playing Eivor as either male or female and are further able to select their hair, warpaint, clothing and armor. Combat has been changed to allow dual wielding of almost any weapon. The "Eagle Eye" mechanics are also expected to return in the form of a raven that will be Eivor's animal companion in the game. The player can use the raven to scout the nearby areas as previous avian companions had done in Origins and Odyssey. The game will rely less on a traditional leveling system and instead focus more on the selection of skills through skill trees selected by the player as Eivor advances through the game. Enemies will be rated based on the collection of skills. The skills trees will be similar to those found in The Witcher, Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Player choices through conversation or gameplay options will have impacts on the characters and their political alliances with other non-player characters.
A central feature of the game is the settlement that the player, as Eivor, will help build and lead during the game. Ismail described its importance as "a lot of what you're doing in the game world is, at the end of the day, going to feed into the settlement so that it can grow, it can flourish." The player will be able to direct construction of certain types of buildings which in turn provide benefits for gameplay. To build these structures, the player will need to lead the vikings on raids to collect resources. Naval combat will return, though more as a means of faster medium for travel for performing such raids, and for escaping after land combat, rather than in engagement with other naval vessels.
Valhalla is a single player game, but will include online components for the purpose of encouraging players to share their progress and creativity.

It’s not ubisoft it’s that the music in games are copyrighted separately. So just because you own the game you don’t own the rights. For some reason youtube takes this fact considers music to be completely separate from the game and will sometimes give copyright strikes or demonetize a channel for it. The bigger a youtuber gets the more of a risk they face of getting those.

Blackflag was beyond my favorite because of the boat mechanics, and the overall mood of the game. It was one of the only single player games besides a Bethesda game that I sank 100s of hours into, and completed 100%. The game came at an amazing time and helped me with depression. I will love that AC game forever.

AC1 was a pioneer for grand scale adventure through 3D worlds but as a game it has been outdone and I don’t think people would appreciate it as much just because it got tweaked. What Ubisoft needs to do is innovate. They tried to innovate with the new RPG style but with Odyssey it took a step back and became shallow. What assassins creed needs is a new game that bridges the old style of story traversal and pace, with a new engine and new ideas to explore.

@@brynjolf3974 I was talking moreso aesthetically. A bright and colorful game has become a standard these days, and it's never really used. The bright and colorful aesthetic works really well to set the tone in a game like, let's say Ghost of Tsushima, where it's a beautiful setting getting ravaged and torn apart. Then you love over to the souls games, where the dark and grit really set the tone for what you've gotten yourself into, an endless tunnel of hopelessness that you keep on knawing at to minimal avail, it's when you transcend beyond that it all clicks, when I'm all the hopeless deaths and demoralizing, you've been able to persevere and grasp success on your own accord. But then there's generic games that really don't take advantage of its environment and just try to aim for realism, like AC Valhalla or Days Gone, objectively fine games but will never reach that same feeling as your God of War or Breath of The Wild I do agree that they should innovate on gameplay though, maybe even an overhaul as long as it keeps true to the core elements of gameplay, striking that sweet spot between not angering fans of the original while also appeasing newer fans. Watching Rad play games here in 2020 makes me feel like I'm reliving my childhood and it almost brings a tear to my eye. I started watching brad all the way back in call of duty ghosts maybe a bit sooner and here I am now my first year of college stressed with work(LOL) and I hop on KZbin and just see a RadBrad video and its truly nostalgic and just refreshing. Assassin's Creed Origin my fave! And my first one.I was following this one through your walkthrough which made me very interested about the creed series.Some scene are quite brutal for me honestly.Plot ,story and history are so great.

My favourite Assassin's Creed game will always be Revelations. It just wrapped up the stories of Altaïr and Ezio so beautifully. What's exciting is that the writer for that game is the writer for this one. I can't wait to see what he's cooked up. I would love to get a copy of this game for PS5.

Dude, just look at this video. Eivor jumps into the building and this guard is distracted with his back facing her. Instead of assassinating the guard, she challenges him. This looks like a great viking game sure, but stealth/assassinating guards from behind is literary the opposite of the theme in these recent games. They can upgrade the combat all they want, but neglecting on the stealth aspect is literary killing the AC concept.

Damn i remember finding you when back in highschool around 2010 2011, when my best friend Liz told me to watch your amnesia the dark decent playthrough, i was a huge fan of you then watched a lot of your vids. Then you suddenly stopped posting videos for a while which was weird dont remember why, but then you came back with a vengeance and posted series after series. Screw Twitter, more bows and arrows. I much prefer ranged combat. Plus, assassins would use stealth attack with ranged weapons over a close quarters toothpick.
