I think one important point is "who did this assassin fight on the regular?" Connor was tough as nails but he mostly fought British soldiers who were often poorly equipped and fed (most of the soldiers on both sides were). Ezio lived during the relatively peaceful parts of Italian history, we can safely assume not many guards were war veterans, Arno rarely fought actual soldiers, most of those guys were militias. Altair fought Crusader knights, the elite of the elite. But their underlings too, who were mostly badly fed and treated. Bayek fought Roman legionaries during the time of Caesar, those guys were battle hardened and tough as nails, each and every one of them. So Bayek wins in my book.

I'm going to say Ezio, although his mission took him many years to complete he was the most focused, grew wise, started at a young age, found the apple and codex pages, rebuilt the brotherhood from scratch after being betrayed, survived being shot, stabbed, and being controlled by the apple itself, freed Rome from the corruption and oppression of the Borgia, stopped corruption and greed in Constantinople, and became mentor while finding the secrets left to him by his ancestors and predecessors before him and stopped the pope in his own house (Vatican) he destroyed and killed Cesare Borgia from the inside out until there was nothing left all while never being seen, only heard of. And no disrespect to Altiar but he ran away for many years and came back when he was old and had to have other assassins stop Abases underlings where Ezio up until death was able to fight off young men from other Countries he's never been to or fought against that attacked him in his own home. And yes Altiar did stop the Grandmaster from corrupting the brotherhood completely the argument could be that Ezio kept the Brotherhood from being destroyed completely (In Italy at least) after the Borgia attacked the Auditore Villa.

Altaïr didn't run away he self-imposed exile. And he fought the Mongols with his son Darim and another legendary Assassin by the name of Qulan Gal. In his 60s he fought Assassins 1/3 his age and bested them even dropping around 30ft to escape the ambush in Masyaf. He lost two loves of his life back to back. And his son was unjustly executed. More than enough to ostensibly abandon the Creed but he tried to find whatever peace he could have left in his life. Eventually understanding he will never be at peace until he finishes what he started. And the rest was History.

I think Connor is the deadliest and I'll explain: I think that it's necessary to measure how much the assassin is focused and dedicated to his target. In AC3 we see that Connor is willing to be executed just to get more info on his target, though it's true that he has a plan to escape it's important to remember that the slight mistake will end his life. Furthermore, Connor seeks revenge on Charles Lee for more than 10 years and that shows that Connor never forgets his target. Even more on an emotional level - Connor doesn't care how much his target is close to him if he needs to be killed Connor will kill him (his father for example). About his capability, there's no doubt Connor is a beast. He is very strong and agile, he is excellent at naval combat and he is a professional hunter. He is the Grim Reaper at a fight, he is capable to use any weapon and he is capable of involving his agility in combat, and that gives him a huge advantage. I think he could beat any assassin on 1v1 even Eivor, and if the battle doesn't involve magical artifacts and weapons I think he can beat even Alexios/ Kassandra.
@vladimirnedeljkovic52683 жыл бұрын
Altäir still at the top tbh. It's very different. Look at them at their worst. Connors anger is petulant, immature, insecure. He gets angry when his percieved social norms or expectations are violated. He's an outsider. When he gets better, he's becoming an adult. He ends, essentially, where Altair starts Atair is arrogant when he's angry. He gets angry when norms get in the way of the most effective action. He's grown up in the Assassins and has always been the golden boy. He's lived a life of discipline and study, but he uses this for himself not for the cause, because he thinks what he wants to do IS the best way of serving the cause. When he gets better he becomes more thoughtful, less selfish, but keeps his individualism. Connor isn't likable, because he isn't supposed to be. Petulant tennagers aren't, and the whole story is a Bildungsroman that takes longer, because he essentially has to learn a whole new society. Towards the end he becomes better, and you start to see a bit of Haytham in him. Additionally, all the games are about the characters discovering the true meaning of the creed and how it applies to them. For Altair, it is empowering, when he finds that the creed isn't a nihilistic negation of anything but your own desire, but a way of making your view of the world adapt to the practicalities of reality and to the views of others (contrast the templars, who would seek to change reality by force rather than adapt their vision of a perfect world) For Connor, it is tragic, he learns that even if you win, your deepest truths are subject to being forgotten and made irrelevant, and your dearest friends and people permitted to be destroyed and to fade into history. No one likes a character who loses, unless it's heroically.

Connor is exploitable, he’s a stereotype, he gets angry, let’s emotions rule him, and we don’t know if he got control of this later on in his life like Altair did. Yea Connor is brutal but it stems from his emotions overriding his actions. Anyone can be brutal, but people like Altair and Ezio learned how to control their anger, become less petulant over time. It’s likely Connor eventually did this, but we just don’t know enough about him further down the line. Personally I hate Conner as a protagonist because he’s literally a stereotype with little depth to his character and it makes it hard to relate to him or feel any sympathy for him, but putting aside my dislike of his character he needs to grow up a bit before he can be in the ranks of Altair and Ezio.

Connor struggled going toe to toe with Charles Lee, his 55-year old father and his best friend, who wasn't even trained. All 3 of them were able to overwhelm him in combat, and he had to resort to other methods, such as surprise attacks, to defeat them. He was definitely skilled and brutal, and was no doubt the strongest assassin in terms of physical strength, but he definitely wasn't the deadliest. Especially compared to the likes of Altair and Ezio, who single-handedly took on entire armies and fought one on one with the most skilled Templars (who were also wielding Pieces of Eden, something which Connor had never faced before) and beat them.

*Sorry for long message* In terms of stealth, I have to agree with you on Altair. Overall, I'd have to say Edward. Dude was proficient at stealth, being able to stealthily navigate any facet of the Caribbean, one of the most hostile regions in the world at the time, with ease. I mean my mans was so sneaky he even knew how to navigate his ship through blockades without being detected. My mans even became proficient with his hidden blades after his first use of them. And even outside of his kill animations, his combat was meant to inflict the most damage in the least amount of movements, something we hadn't really seen since Brotherhood/Revelations Ezio. And it was all practical, whereas Connor or Arno's combat was heavily based on strength, Eddy was precise. Never missed an opening, and was entirely based upon cold logic. You have to take in to consideration too that to become this extremely feared pirate with a ship recognized across the seven seas he had to not only defeat hundreds of ships, but the thousands of crew that were on board them. On top of that, not only killed an entire Templar Rite almost singlehandedly, but destabilized a region to the point the following decades saw multiple revolutions spawn in the power vacuum his actions left and allowed an Assassin Cell on the verge of defeat to be reborn stronger than ever (you can credit Adewale for this heavily but let's face it if it wasn't for Edward he would've never been an Assassin). In Captain Kidd's own words, the first time she addresses him as not a pirate, or a friend, but an Assassin- "You're the best of us. You always were."

sounds weird but could be edward kenway. for some reason, whoever wrote the story, had him learn the assassin's techniques "naturally" without any training whatsoever. he could just do the leap of faith, any kind of assassination etc. even ah tabai who was a master assassin said his skills are remarkable not saying kenway is the deadliest, but he had the potential to be that. later on, it's said he quickly became master assassin himself and then the leader (so there were several other master assassins and he was even the best one amongst them) after he joined the british assassins. so kenway with no training, but just naturally learning stuff along the way, became literally one of the best of the best. that shit was just pure talent I never understood how he was just given all these skills without training. when I played black flag I thought I'd maybe see a flashback of him being trained by the assasins, but no lol. ifkenway would be extensively trained by other great assassins, then I could see him become even greater than altair, ezio, connor etc

Jacob and Evie are severely underrated and I am pretty sure that is just because of bias. Evie and Jacob are trained since birth, and at 20 years old (the same age Ezio was when his father and brothers were hanged) Evie and Jacob dismantled one of the most powerful and longest standing Templar organizations. Also, at the end of the game Evie and Jacob became Master Assassins at a really young age likely around the same age as Altair was when he became master assassin. I also would like to mention Edward Kenway. In the game he mentioned that he had the eagle vision sense since he was a child. He explained it felt like ''Seeing sounds and hearing shapes''. It is obvious he is very strong with that sense. Edward was basically a natural talent and his amazing eagle vision helped him even more. Some feats are ''clearing decks of Spanish galleons like it is nothing'' where there could be up to 50 people on the deck, he mastered the hidden blades without training in a very short time, managed to easily kill Duncan Walpole who was a rogue master assassin. Just imagine this lad killed a master assassin in maybe a minute without any real training. I always like to think of what would have happened if Edward would have gotten Ezio's training.

@Arthur-gs2jr2 жыл бұрын
I actually would go for Shao Jun, because she learnt everything from ezio but also fully trusts on her skill of stealth. You can see that because ezio still wears armor in the game, but Shao doesn’t . The only thing Shao wears are her assasin robes. The rest of her weapons are her katana and her Shuriken which are not heavy weapons and can be considered as fully steath weapons. She is more flexible and sneaky than Ezio because she is a woman ( she has less muscle to move around) and she has better parcour material. And she literally has a hidden blade in her shoe! Also, while Ezio was liberating Italy and Istanbul he had a full brotherhood that could help him, he had la volpe, machiavelli, uncle mario, Yussuf and many others. Not only for fighting this was usefull but also for gathering info about the borgia and the templars. Also at the end of ac2 ezio makes the mistake to not kill rodrigo borgia which makes ezio more human, but Shao is a killing machine and would never make that mistake. Shao Jun her whole brotherhood was murdered and at a certain point she stood all alone trying to make a new brotherhood and liberate all China. Shao Jun really had to fight her way up from her years as a concubine of the emperor untill being the last surviving assasin of her brotherhood. So i would say Ezio is not the deadliest assasin, but it is his last student Shao Jun

@@Arthur-gs2jr while I agree with alot of what you wrote, I was also considering the people killed just by ezio's order. Remember he was more akin to a general during his time as mentor. He went from having no help at all in Rome to owning the whole city, running out the templars and having the apple of Eden under his possession by the time he hit thirty and didn't even begin training until 17. Edward litteraly REMOVED the templars from the carribean and a lot from England, and he isn't the deadliest? Just because the game is all about the beginning of his lore doesn't mean he hasn't reached as much as Altair or Ezio. In my opinion he is the deadliest

I believe Biak has been underestimated. He founded the creed or at least was its inspiration. He took down the order of the Ancients along with Aya (so only 1 other person same as Connor and Achillies), fought in Gladiatorial Combat, killed a War Elephant, hunts the Deadliest creatures on the planet just for some leather and killed 3 Egyptian Gods (yes they were animus glitches but it shows he was capable of it had they been real events). He even bested the soul eater, a massive serpent that only The literal God Ra had ever been able to defeat, in single combat. So I think he places higher. At least in my opinion. Though this isn't "If you threw them all in an arena and had them fight to the death, who would win scenario" as that would likely go to Edward, Shay, Arno and The free twins due to their superior ranged capability (guns) or Alexios and River due to Experience in Face to face combat, weapon arsenal and the fact they both participate in large scale, chaotic battles regularly due to the time periods they live in.

@@calvinmacdonald9162 *"Altair got the knowledge from the apple on how to make the equipment. It doesn't prove he can beat Ezio in a fight, but it shows they're tantamount. *"If you have read 📖 the books 📚.. Altair battles to fight more than 5 enemies at a time.. Altair fought more than five men when he faced De Sable, and he beat them all without taking damage, plus all the men he faced on the way there. These were veteran Templar warriors mind you. Not sure what happened in 'the book', as vague as it sounds, but him fighting five guys doesn't mean he couldn't handle more. Edward was killed by two men in his own home. Does that mean he couldn't handle two men? Of course not!

I’ve played every game in the series, and honestly to me, Connor is the deadliest Assassin. When I think of deadly I think of the ones who’ve killed more and how they acted on it. Connor being solo bumps him up a ton acting alone and the only help we see is when they help him from the hanging. Connor was both the mastermind and the hit man. The way I saw this video going was going to fall into Altair and ezio so hand regardless. Altair was in a time where the assassin grandmaster was corrupt and he had to take over. Ezio was in a time of the creed dying off and being quiet. However there wasn’t a specific leader for the colonial assassins after rogue connor was to be on his lonesome and regardless couldn’t accomplish their feats because he wasn’t given the opportunity.

I don't know why people believe that Connor did everything himself. He didn't. He fought with the American troops against the British and had and raised rebels to form that Patriot's group; who were conducting missions on their own as well. The Templars were not as organized in the Americas as they were in their history. Here are my points: - Al Mu'alim had everyone convinced in his methods and words. Therefore his leadership held strength; - Rodrigo Borgia had established himself as a religious guide for the masses. This established credibility to the Borgia's rule; - Haythem didn't do any of this. He wasn't a religious leader in any way, therefore didn't have a cult thrive around him on the same level as the previous two Templar heads; - The British had an army, which Haythem and his followers sided with; - Connor sided with the Americans; - Haythems's Templars were not well organized and were not that well trained, aside from Haythem himself. (and Charles Lee arguably.); - Connor was very well trained as the previous two Assassin heads (Altair and Ezio). Therefore, Connor is only relatively deadliest; not in actuality.

You have a super good point BUT ur forgetting something -In navel combat he took down multiple man o wars and even fought 5v1s on a daily basis(edward kenway jr) -On land he may have killed John Pitcarn with american help but they only helped him cause he took down 2 frigates without a ship or crew and lured pitcarn out himself. -With the help of some people he shelled new york and went in there himself in a suicidal mission for 1 guy only When people pooped on him thinking he couldnt do something he did it times 100

@@superyoungboygamer7228 I agree with your points as well. But VERY same can be said about Altair, when he went to literally every mission on his own in enemy territories with only one Assassin hideout, without many of his weapons/tools/etc., in which shelter would only be possible if he could become completely anonymous. On top of this, he went to the Acres all on his own where he had to fight an onslaught of Templar soldiers, knights, etc. when he went to warn King Richards. Completely surrounded by the European forces and the few assassins around him, simply dying, but him continuing forth. Ezio's case is the same. The Greek fire in Revelations, going up against the bandits in Masyaf I believe. The many catacombs throughout. The many highly trained persons that pursued him. Holding off Cesare when he attacked the Villa. There and many more, the Two Master Assassins had accomplished either managing the situation with little help or none. So Connor isn't really unique to being a lone wolf or a one man army. In many ways he's very much a mix of Altair and Ezio. Ultimately though, the developers truly decide which characters they're gonna prefer, by amping up the gameplay and character abilities. Like with Bayak, Alexios/Kassandra, and Eivor.

@@superyoungboygamer7228 I haven't played the recent game, so I have no opinion on Eivor. But in regards to Connor, your points here do not really align altogether with his abilities and powers. Here's the point: Connor doesn't scalp his enemies, because according to the Iroquois of NY, their ancestral practices were not the same as Apaches. So, the developers scraped that; Connor only had the powers in one DLC, and only temporarily given by, I believe, Juno. You ended up answering "who is the most influential Assassin", instead of who is deadliest. While there is some correlation, they are not the same thing. Being a good leader, good administrator and organizer, a good general, that's a very different skillset from being a deadly assassin. Altair, Ezio and Bayek have proven to be great generals, charismatic leaders, and capable of getting people to their side and to fight for the cause. Their deadlines comes more from their ability to be leaders, though they were all spectacular combatants. If we look at the different methods of dispatching people into account, the use of subterfuge and stealth tactics, Arno could well be the deadliest. He was very intelligent, and often used very unconventional methods to both reach his targets, as well as cause their death. If you then look at pure combat ability, Connor might actually be considered the deadliest. He was brutal, precise, efficient. Much like his personality, his style was no-nonsense and straight to the point and brutal. Arno and Connor were probably the best examples of how to utilize stealth tactics to overcome the odds. Their main differences come down to Connor not backing down, and just forcing himself through anything, while Arno would prefer to scout and plan out his approach more carefully.

But you also have to take into account the lack of equipment Altair had i mean he had the least in the whole series not to mention his combat abilities were amazing he was the best assassin *Assassin* by far not saying he was the smartest or best at fighting but when it comes to being a *Assassin* he was the best definitely. Now i know people are going to say that i am wrong because he broke the tenants of the creed on multiple occasions but so did Arno more than him even also without talking about that and just purely talking about the factors that make a assassin skill wise loyalty and discipline aside Altair was the perfect example of a assassin in his time of the creed in which had hundreds probably thousands of assassins who had the same opportunities as him.
