It’s strange for me thinking back on this. First time I saw AssClass anywhere, I thought it would be a typical weird anime about a goofy-looking creature. Took me a while to actually sit down and watch it (even so, I think I saw an abridged of it first). Now, years after it has ended, this odd-sounding anime has given me motivation in life where I had none before. People often used to tell me half-jokingly that I should become a history teacher considering the enthusiasm with which I talked about the subject, and I never took them seriously. Now, I’m on my way to become one, and that’s in no small part because of Koro-sensei. I may not be a superhuman ex-assassin who can fly at mach 20, fire laser beams, and regenerate lost limbs, but his desire to help these kids be the best they can be has inspired me to no end, and if I become even half the teacher he was I will be content. Thank you, Koro sensei, and class E. From the bottom of my heart.

Assassination classroom almost tricked me into wanting to be a teacher as a kid. Maybe if I was an ultra powerful squid man then I'd give it a try. Edit: I am now pursuing teaching abroad as a career. Looks like they got me after all. Edit 2. Currently I am working as an early literacy tutor to save up money to move to Spain to teach English. Edit 3. I leave in about a month. I don't know what the future holds for me. But I'd like to do something that matters with it. I hope you will do the same. Edit 4. Its been four years since I made the original comment and god i feel old. Anyway I'm currently living in a shitty flat in Spain working as a language assistant. The pay is ass and the commute is a pain but I've been enjoying it. I'm planning on getting my TEFL certification so I can get a job that actually pays. Edit 5: hey hey people. It is currently 2024 and I am back in my home country. I am now tefl certified and I'm currently saving up money to go teach abroad again. This time I'm thinking Korea.

I'm so mad that I missed you posting this to KZbin, I didn't miss it on Spotify I can definitely tell you that. Even then, I was in tears while dancing. 4yrs later and I’m back to this video. I’m rewatching assassination classroom. I didn’t realize I watched assassination classroom & and this video 4years ago… god. This anime is so special to me. It’s the first and only one to make me actually cry. And that’s because of how attached I got to Nagisa. I related to him pretty hard. He’s super special to me.. this ANIME is super special.

Ok...this show brings back memories for me...when I was starting my Sophomore year (last year) I couldn’t find any of my friends for a whole week. Every year my school has had an anime, I made it. There was a new teacher and I didn’t trust her yet (she is awesome and one of the few people I feel actually genuinely want me in their classroom). Sorry for the mini-tangent. Anyway, I stayed there, in the classroom, nobody would talk to me since it was the firs anime club of the year and everyone was shy. It was just when my best friend at the time popped in to see if it was the room for anime club when this show started playing. Both of us loved the show and he stayed with me the entire time. Unfortunately, he and I have drifted apart, but this anime always makes me think of him. All those happy memories flood back to me like a tidal wave of bittersweet nostalgia.

Hating on dub is just weeb stuff imo. Dub is so nice NOT having to try to read the text while seeing the action. And i mean look at DBZ, the dub is SOOO much better than the high pitch Goku voice. They dub DBZ is so much better with the screaming and shouting they do vs sub.
