Another question, I noticed during your kingsbane goes you immediately switch off and keep dotting other targets. Is this the typical behavior? I'm new to assa so I'm trying to understand if you'd ever stay on the target with kingsbane hitting them with envenom and what not, or just always maintain dots on other targets after using kingsbane?

The DoT from Kingsbane isn't *insane* in PvP right now so I remain on target if I think the target dies, but if I think the target will survive the kill attempt then it's better to use the remainder of Shadow Dance to spread the empowered Garrote, as this is your #1 damage source, rather than try to ramp up the Kingsbane DoT. Dance can also be used to benefit from Carnage and apply Rupture in AoE (again, when you think the target will survive the kill attempt with Kingsbane), or Cheap Shot/Garrote silence people to allow your team to breathe a little. In short, if you think you kill, then try to kill, but if you realize you don't kill, then think long term and apply those empowered Garrote to everybody while Dance lasts to have a better chance at winning once Dance fades rather than waste time hitting a target that will live. That allows you to maximize your overall damage, and slowly overwhelm the enemy team.

It's in my build, simply sometimes it's not worth using it. Basically if it doesn't hit enough targets then the damage isn't worth it. But because the point that I put into it is kind of a point I can't put anywhere else, I end up having the talent anyway, regardless of whether it's a match-up I'll use it a lot into. And well, people could always triple stack by accident !

You're already supposed to have Rupture on everybody if you end up in a situation where pressing Crimson is good. If Crimson hits 3 to 5 targets then it deals about the same damage as Rupture on every target hit. It's not bad !

something i just noticed, do you actively stay at around 50% energy for sanguine blades ? so do you play for it ? cause i noticed today in most of your games you were above 50% for a lot of time

I don't actively play around it, as in, I don't stop pressing spells to make sure I remain above 50%. But, because I know I have this talent, I try my best to have enough bleeds and poisons up on multiple targets for Venomous Wounds to give me enough Energy back for Sanguine Blades to have value (on top of doing damage). It comes rather naturally !

Freedom, BoP and Concentration Aura are better tools for the comp than what the Druid can provide, in most match-ups.

In what sort of match-ups do you use the bone spike build?

You can use it in match-ups in which you are very, very unlikely to kill something inside of a stun with burst damage, so tanky comps that go in dampening (like DH Ele RDruid, all 3 are tanky, either have passive damage reduction or CDs usable in stuns, HoTs, Treants, etc etc). But it is still always viable to play with the KB build, and to be fair I personally prefer it as it allows me to punish trinkets or bad positioning way more than with the Bone Spike build.

In game 2 versus the Ele/Arms/Pres you didn't press Deathmark once. Is there a specific reason for that?

Yes. The Evoker has a bleed dispel with 1min CD. If I press Deathmark it instantly gets dispelled, because Evokers keep it for that, and then he gets to dispel again 1min after for free and he still has it back next Deathmark. If I never use Deathmark, he never uses dispel, so I remove the dispel in between the two Deathmarks from the game. And also, on a kill go, I do more damage without Deathmark than with a dispelled one!

Great idea but wondering if you just possibly use it randomly outside of the go if they start dispelling on kingsbane anyway.

If he doesn't die during said CC then it's not worth it because he will dispel at the end of it (and the dispel actually heals, too, so the target is unlikely to die during the global if it removes all my damage AND heals).

No. Kingsbane is not dispellable, so they won't "start dispelling on Kingsbane". They will always keep itfor Deathmark.

Hey i notice you don't have Slice and dice on your bar : isn't worth the 1 point to keep it up and have 1% hp per 2 seconds with Recuperator talent ? Asking from you POV ;)

Its not on his visible bars because slice has no cooldown and therefor does not need to track it

I kind of disagree with you here, in the way that you keep 50% attack speed up at all time Wich increase. Quite alot your energy Regen ( I would believe so ) and keep a free healing passively. In a way it is a damage reduction on over 45 seconds of 22.5% damage. Also it is not shown in the buff section from all the matchs. That was why my question.

My bars only show spells with a cooldown. You don't see Mutilate, Fan of Knives, Rupture or Envenom either, but I do use them ;) Slice and Dice is worth pressing when there isn't some re DoT'ing to do, or someone to stun with Kidney Shot. However you seem to be mistaken about how important it is. Haste and attack speed are two different things. Having 50% haste would increase energy regen, DoT tic rate and attack speed, but having 50% attack speed is just that, attack speed. There is no energy regeneration increase. Slice and Dice basically only increases auto attack frequency (and so, damage), and consequently poison application. However with the current builds you play with only Wound Poison, so poison damage is close to irrelevant. Combined with how hard Bleeds hit at the moment (re)appying Ruptures is way, way more valuable than getting a Slice and Dice. So, in between the Kidney Shots and the Ruptures plus a couple Envenoms when people could actually die (you won't press SnD when someone is 30% health in front of you, right), I do often find myself not using Slice and Dice (maybe I don't do it enough still, but my point is, it's irrelevant right now) because it wouldn't be any useful in the grand scheme of things. Auto attack damage is low, Wound Poison damage is low, and the rest of what you can spend your combo Points on deals a lot of damage. So, Slice and Dice is good, but there are just other things that I prioritize over it. It wasn't the case last season for example, when we played with 4x Poison. Then SnD was very important. As for Recuperator, it is useful but there is a bug with it at the moment. Basically, it does heal you, but only up to the duration o your ***initial*** Slice and Dice. When you extend it with Envenom & Cut to the Chase, as soon as you are over the initial duration you stop receiving healing, for some reason.

When there are enough targets stacked up to make the damage worth it, as the spell scales with how many targets it hits up to 100% extra damage.

It's always viable really. I only play it sometimes because I really like Kingsbane, but another top Rogue plays it every single game, and he has more Rogues on high rating than I have. You just have to play a bit differently, focus more on CC, disruption and overal damage while with KB you have to really go for kills sometimes, even if it makes you do a little less of what I listed.
