Can't believe Jirard just ripped the game apart like that. I think the integration of a brotherhood of assassins that you can call was an awesome idea and the story was completely neccessary and enjoyable. Looking back, ezio wouldn't have the legacy he does without this game. Shame not everyone can enjoy it the same way I guess.

I don't really think a game being unnecessary is a legitimate complaint. There aren't a lot of game sequels that are really necessary, and hell, there's a ton of spin-off games in other series that are technically unnecessary but fun as hell. I don't think it's that big of a problem, at least not one that should be brought up multiple times.

The Ezio games are some of the best AC games. With Black Flag being the other, for me.

The music in this game ( the entire Ezio collection in fact) is godlike... Jesper Kydd is just one of the best videogame soundtrack composers and his work on the AC games is legendary

For the first time ever I speak in disagreement of you. I just thought it note worthy. I think brotherhood is the best game as of yet (from what I've played at least). I think 3 was amazing but to roam the streets of Rome, I was just amazed. And the gameplay was a big step forward from 2 with the multi killing being a thing in this game first. I just think this game is the best for now which will probably change after a while but this is what I think. And thank you for the insight in other perspectives that I didn't consider before. I appreciate that. Great video as always. See you at the next entry. 3 is a blast I tell you what

Brotherhood is contender for the best in the series. And when you look at other entries, like ACIII which was boring and disappointing and Unity which was a trash fire, it's even better by comparison.

I've always thought they had a whole Ezio story already figured out (hence the quick releases) but for story duration purposes they split it into 3 parts, similar to Kill Bill

Your opinion dude. I respect it. You are right, in your own world. Specifically in the case of AC2 vs. Brotherhood, i think it depends on which one you played first. I played Brotherhood before AC2 and it blew me away and is my fav in the whole series. I played AC2 after and loved it too but for me Brotherhood is the better version which is obvious. Devs got more xp with the consoles so made a better game technically and added a lot. Ultimately, it's the experience. The novelty i got with Brotherhood i can never get it with AC2 and opposite hold true for others.
