@@djuraster You have to recollect the gear and then it upgrades to the level of the enemy you defeated. Enable level scaling to maximum.

After beating Valhalla I realize that Odyssey is the superior game combat wise 😭 it's sad how even using Thor's hammer and Odins spear doesn't make me feel powerful like in Odyssey.

@Christian Reiter Idk how Ubisoft missed the mark with the combat in this game. Kind of disappointing tbh. Really bad how using godly weapons doesn't change how stamina is used.

So true, the Valhalla combat is so inconsistent, slow, frustrating and just not as good. The only thing I'm enjoying is having a sword in Eivor's left hand then hold down LB button and run quickly through the enemies. It helps to move around quicker too, if you need to traverse about 100 meters, with full adrenaline you can run faster- really helps when doing the Titanium run from T7 PDMs last video. Ubisoft threw in some gimmicky abilities into Valhalla but when you really need them they are not lit up in yellow. I'd go back to Odyssey if I could but I have already played the game and DLCs twice- I would just be a vagabond wandering the landscape looking for a fight.

You need to do the DLC three times to get all Atlantis weapons, so you have something to do. Or just start all over with Odyssey.

Been playing this game since xmas and i am really really liking it. Just got on to the Atlantis DLC now. Got a pretty sweet epic build going and upped to nightmare now after watching some of your videos explaining how certain things work.Really great content and i can tell how passionate you are about the game :) I have one thing to ask please,I keep seeing you doing the running jumping attack all the time, what exactly is that attack i cant seem to do it and i know I am missing something really obvious with it? It will be like a different world when you go back. I tried the Vanilla 1.0 Odyssey version for this video and it is incredible how much better Odyssey was even in the very first version of the game. So smooth climbing and responsive combat. Better less annoying fall damage, a horse thats not afraid of slopes and jumping...

For ares madness glitch I got the northern travel pack and put all of the 5 northern traveler items on and successfully got the the -50 bonus and I got the isu enhancement 120 enchantment but when I tried to put the -15 second enchantment on the northern travel arms the enchantment did not show up as an option when I tried other arms the enchantment showed up so either I’m doing something wrong or this was there way of patching the glitch. can anyone help me!

Please check this video for example builds and how it is done properly: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqqve3Stich4ebs You dont have to use the set bonus and the engraving at the same time, in fact you can not even do that. Either use the NT set, or use the engraving, both is working and reducing Ares Madness cooldown by 50% per hit.

Thanks for the great content! I just picked up the game with the DLCs, and I finished Kephalonia and just arrived to Megaris. So I went ahead and did my level 99 grind and upgraded my Northern Traveler set. I have the ability to SKIP to the 1st episode of Atlantis before going through the story ... will this allow me to attain Ares Madness or will I need to progress further in the main story to upgrade Battlecry? Currently to attain 2/3 I must progress further in the story.

When you go back and even try Vanilla 1.0 you just realize how much better it was in so many ways, very smooth climbing, very responsive intuitive combat, the better horse, not afraid of jumping or hills... Even fall damage was way less annoying and better implemented at level 1.

You should use a melee resistance build and then do the Spartan camp in megaris until nation power drops to trigger conquest battle, then do the conquest battle and repeat with leader house and fortress until another conquest is triggered. Depending on qhich nation holds megaris, you should start with spartan camp or leader house/forts.

This video was 10 months ago. Do these still all work now in November 2021? And Bighorn Bow does that show visually the increase in the stats page to your left melee weapon and arrow damage or only on the numbers on screen in battle? I used my helix credits already so it's not free for me

Its all working, get the bighorn bow, it doubles your warrior damage and basically quadruples your hunter damage. The game uses your warrior damage when you shoot arrows with the bighorn bow, the hunter damage value is ignored. You will see the damage increase ingame. but you have to equip the correct melee weapon when you shoot your arrows the one with the higher value. Hi ! I tried your Bighorn bow trick on my Xbox One at level 54. This does not work. Do you know why ?

You do it wrong, dude. Make sure you exit and reopen the menu so that the game recalculates the damage. Use left weapon. The factor is always 1.6, dont expect millions out of nowhere, if you deal 1000 you will get 1600, if you deal 10000 you get 16000, if you deal 10 million you get 16 million. Works only when you unlocked left weapon after level 14. The ingame weapon order is different than in your inventory, check the picture of the weapon you selected. Greetings: Glad to see you back!!! Yea I played Valhalla just because, however really did not enjoy that game at all. I have since several months now uninstalled it. Odyssey is my favorite game and about two more playthroughs I will most likely have all the mastery points full, that is how much I have played Odyssey. However unless I am mistaken we can no longer obtain the Northern Traveler Set, that vanished when they went to Ubi Connect and as of two weeks ago I could not find any means to obtain it. That was two weeks ago, plan to start another play through this evening so I will look again. Ubisoft took away my bonus armor set in Valhalla, Carolina something, forget where I went to sign up to get it, had it for a couple days and then it was gone, I suppose cause I did not BUY it. In any event Valhalla is in the round file for good, and most likely never grow tired of Odyssey. Still find new things time to time. Well let me shut up, great to see you once again. Cheers Kit

Isu enhanced engraving is from the Dikastes set, Ares Madness engraving is from the Northern Travelers set. Get the Atlantis DLC and the Northern Travelers set from Ubisoft Connect.

It works for everyone. Close the menu and reopen it. your left warriior damage value will be increased by a factor of 1.6 after reopening. The left weapon in the menu is the right weapon in the ingame quick selection, make sure to check if you are using the correctweapon (picture). If you do not deal a lot of damage your build might just suck. The bow can only increase what you already have by a factor of 1.6, the more you have the more you get. Make sure the bow is full upgraded.

Check the early game builds playlist and the individual videos for this glitch for a better explanation, use the correct weapon, upgrade your bow and use a proper build. You always get a damage increase of 1.6 times the amount you have, which means if you deal 1000 you get 1600, if you deal 1 million you get 1.6 million. So if you build sucks, your damage will still suck The better it is, the bigger is the effect. I claimed the northern traveler armor on my save that I started new game plus, and then went back to my old save because i didnt want to do the campaigh again but wanted to play the atlantis DlC. So I went back but my armor didnt transfer. Any way to fix this?

You can claim items in your owned tab of the store. But why the hell do you go back? Completing the NG+ and Atlantis DLC is the best way to get more ability points. You could have done the story 20 times by now.

How does one get the enemies in the arena to scale past level 50? Mine are stuck at 50... I had a save with 245 hours and since PlayStation felt like it didn’t want to back it up... I lost 143 hours of it :( keeping my saves on a pc now :p

You should make multiple saves not being too far apart from each other. Have you ever started a new game plus? The enemies should scale to level 99 then. And you can collect another 54 ability points from teh Atlantis DLC and 22 from the tombs again. Every time you do it. You will also keep all your gear and you can recollect the legendaries at level 99, saving you all the upgrade costs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXSpYnuGes2Nrs0

You migth have used the billion XP exploit with that save, which gave you 2000 in a second by doing certain story creator missions, this is not possible anymore.

@@T7PDM ive never done any glitches except the bighorn bow... the only thing different is that this save is from a pirated ac odyssey game which i later on migrated onto the actual game and bought the other dlcs on it... the pirated save already had big horn bow so i had to get it through helix store and i checked that my two other saves where i played as alexios also have 2k+ ability points which are legit saves... my 3 newest saves however dont have these ability points

LOL, the bighorn bow is the single best item in the entire game, it is not compareable to anything else. Because it doubles all your damage. It is atleast as strong as the Yumminess blade, but you can still use your abilities with the bow. No other item has such an effect. You will never use any other bow again. That you even ask this question means that you have no clue how amazing this item actually is. For most people it is the biggest glitch in the entire game. Weil du gespeichert hast nachdem du etwas gekauft oder mit ihm geredet hast. Oder diesem Schmied gerade neu entdeckt hast. Geh zu einem anderen und speichere bevor du mit ihm redest. Dann klappt es. Bis zu zwei Inventare hat jeder. Um ein neues hinzuzufügen musst du dich aufleveln. Die Schmiede kriegen bei jedem Level Up ein zusätzliches Inevntar, das maximum ist jedoch bei 2. Jedes Mal wenn du mit ihnen redest verlieren sie eins.

Makes you wonder why Ubisoft don't deliberately insert an array of hidden 'glitches' themselves for the player to discover. Going by the amount of fans who flock to these KZbin videos in order to discover new glitches you'd think it would be a genius marketing move. Its a helix store item, use your 200 free helix credits to get it for free. Its buggd and almost doubles your damage.
