I'm a new player (in 2023: sad, right? 😆) and I got to level 50 before I started doing my research on builds. I'm now at level 62 and I've had the Bighorn Bow for about a week and holy shit does it make a huge difference. Especially the multi-shot. It's absolutely devastating. Makes taking down a fort basically effortless now. Climb up to an elevated spot, equip multi-shot and smash everyone.

I kept hearing about The Bighorn Bow and I've done 2 playthroughs but never understood it. I thought it was just a strong bow but when I compared it to my others, the numbers don't come close until you understand the glitch and how it works. Ubi never patched it as I understand and they probably won't because dedicated ACO players really love stuff like this. Finding little secrets and using them in their builds. Half the fun of ACO is creating unique powerful builds so this does make the game more interesting.

They have not fixed this in two years, I doubt this will ever get corrected. With every update they add even new bugs. Now we just got an engraving that gives you the same damage bost as the bow.

If my character levels up than I want to see the difference, if everything thing else levels up with my character, than leveling doesn't really matter, it's like a dog chasing his own tail lol

I, sorry for this reply, but i have a question. I have the bighorn bow, and obviousily the damage increase the melee one in the left hand, and it is reflect on the bow damage. But, if i try to increase Warrior damage with Warrior bonus, the damage in the bow column don't increase, only the one in the melee column. Why?

Warrior damage will only increase warrior damage, and the bow uses your warrior damage, so why do you bother about your hunter damage, You either didnt watch the whole video or you still dont understand that your hunter damage is not even used anymore. It was all explained in the video.

It is a Helix store item. You can use your 200 free Helix credits to get the bow for free. You should get the credits after beating Megaris.

Ok, I have set up everything as you described including the Bighorn Bow however everything in my inventory lowers my Warrior damage by a lot. My warrior damage is at 44061-25170 on normal mode. I think I heard you say something about being on hard + mode and you show your player at level 99. Mine is only at 73. How do I improve this?

The video you watched is not a build video but only a tutorial to use the bighorn bow. The difficulty does not have to do anything with your damage. You should make a build that fits your level. and make it correctly. That means, you should watch the whole video and not only parts of it. You can not get this dude, you can only get what is listed in the engraving list for that item tyoe. Check the new players guide: kzbin.info/www/bejne/onSnhoV3nKuLedE You can only get the items shown in the videos. If the items are unique it is mentioned and the location is shown in the video. You wasted 3 hours of your life. The only belt in the game that has crit chance at full health is the Sphinx belt, which is a unique item because of that.

Yes this bow. I am tailored toward warrior damage from level one. I had the northern traveler pack and I like heavy blade weapons. I have a good bow now and I’m on level 19. But now I think I will just try to 1:- level up through the story 2:-get the immortal suit from the cult line and then 3:-get that bighorn bow. Do you just have to equip the bow and that’s it? Or is there more to it?

Enough respect for the replies dude. It’s all too much to remember for me ha. I get the engraving things and play styles. I.e go for one or the other. Hunter or assassin. I’ve been looking for high % on warrior/all and /poison damage on weapons and engraving. And I like to Sparta kick to kill hard opponents off a hill as with low DPs it takes a while . Not even got over power yet and I’ve seen that massive giant and ran away!

As I said in the video, anything you get from an XP glitch is a ruined game experience. You can get to max level in 60-70 hours easily. Levelling up from 93 to 99 only took me 2 hours during the last stream. Use the engraving "-50% to all resistances" from the bare chested armor, and have fun

Also use falx of Olympus engraving for high damage, but without any added resistances on any of the gear

The -50% resistances doesnt have any additional effect on nightmare with the falx of Olympus, the game prevents you from dying by a single hit. You have always 1 hitpoint left. This doesnt make it harder and he probably plays on falx anyway. My suggestion would be not to use any weapons.

Of course the DLCs are worth it, they unlock the best engravings and abilities. The only thing that is worth to get from the shop is the bighorn bow and anything that is mentioned in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmnUnoCbltqme6s Unlike other games certain items or setbonus are really useful for some builds. But they are only very few. The minimum you should get is the bighorn bow.

But this is just ruining your game experience. This game is no grind if you follow the guides. Money XP materials all increase exponentially, so you will swim in money and materials on higher levels. Dont waste your time to grind for couple of thousand money if you can get millions later on.

Without the glitch, in my opinion the best build is Pirate Set + 100% crit chance when full health + 300% crit dmg + hero strike ability + assassin dmg applies to nearby enemies + reduce 10% cd on dodge and parry + chance to deal assassin dmg on melee. With this build you can basically one shot assassinate any enemy even when the enemy red bar is only at 1/4. And you can one shot anyone with the hero strike ability plus aoe assassin dmg. The aoe assassin dmg also applies to the chance to deal assassin dmg on melee. Oh and use daggers. More hits more chances of dealing assassin dmg. But I think this is end game build cause you need to have the fully upgraded engravings for the crit chance and crit dmg (only managed to get +40% for the crit chance). For the crit chance while full health, I believe you can't engrave them, they're just in the pirate set and some bows or weaps (only managed to get +40% as well). Both need to be maxed out in your mastery skills (+10% each). Basically you need 50% crit chance then 50% crit chance while full health. They will stack up as 100% crit chance while full health. Once you get that you just need to crank up your crit dmg and assassin dmg. If you could squeeze in the Reduce 20% on all cooldowns then great but the Reduce CD on perfect parry and dodge alone isn't bad.

@Kharl Cutie Legendary sets have 5 less engravings. No legendary set is ever able to beat epic armor. Here is the best non bighorn bow build, but this is a warrior build, I dont know if you like it, its a bit older: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6THnnltZcqJlas I also made a pirate set build recently with (775% crit damage, 100% health) so you can compare that with yours and improve it, if you like: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmnJpWaurMaJqaM Disagree on daggers, could alert enemies when you need multiple hits. ;-)

Perfect melee weapons have the followign stats: "Warrior damage", "damage with [weapon type]" and "critical damage" If your build is assassin focused you can use assassin primary damage of course, but in general it is enough to have it on armor. - The Boetian Rapsody is a perfect epic blunt that can be found in Thebes. - Heitors Harpe is a perfect epic sword that can be found in Attika from the "A friend in need Quest".

This video is meant to explain it to you, just watch the whole video. The second part explains everything you could do wrong! If you watched the whole video you should know what you did wrong. It doesnt magically turn your level 10 build to deal 100 million damage, you have to make a better build for it. It doubles your damage, and it doesnt multiply it by 1000.

If you do everything right, you just dont get the same damage, because your build is incredibly bad. And make sure you also pick all the same engravings, abilities and masteries. If you dont copy it exactly you dont get the same damage.

You have to be level 15 like it was said in the video. Because at level 15 you unlock your left melee weapon slot. All this is explained in the video. You should definitely watch the second part, otherwise you will do it wrong or dont understand which weapon to use, or why your damage will not be the same, etc...

@@T7PDM it's strange tho because I am Lev 58 and I have the bighorn bow equipped and my hunter damage is only 4432 and my warrior damage is 13854 for my left and I did refresh the menu multiple times but I need it to be much higher than that but whatever I try it won't work and I don't know what to do because it just takes like 50 hits to kill 1 mercenary which is just stupid I just need to be overpowered to get this game finished if you can help that would be great and I did watch both of your videos about the bow

@@Edward_Kenway3 This was explained aswell. Your build just sucks. If your build is trash your damage will still be trash. If you deal 10k damage, the bow gives you 16k, if you deal 100k you get 160k, if you deal 10 million you get 16 million. So it is depended on what you already have. They are not going to do this, people are buying this item so they get money from it. It might only be fixed in a remaster version maybe, if ever. There has not been a major patch for 2 years, they only added two sets and 60fps during that timeframe.

This bow will work, but you can not get it from the shop, if you do not install the latest version. PS: There is no way anyone would play that old version. You can not even reach level 99, You will not be able to upgrade your engravings at Hephaistos, and you will not be able to get 100% crit chance. Your build will incredibly suck. Get a legel copy and update your game, dude.
