Reload your inventory to see the higher value. The game increases your warrior damage by a factor of 1.6, if you deal only hundred thousands, you will get a couple of hundred thousands more, it does not suddenly give you millions on a very low level, the effect gets bigger the more damage you deal, it grows with your level.

It does not work at lower levels. At level 15 it works. Maybe its linked with using a 2nd weapon. But there is absolutely something making it not work at lower levels.

@@Ruimas28 You need to have the left melee weapon in your inventory unlocked and then its a 1.6 times increase of the damage you currently deal. The more damage you deal, the higher the effect. Make sure you seelct the correct weapon when you play.

That does not have any influence, you are not getting more assassin damage out of it than before, it only works as usual, because the conversion uses the existing percentages, not the values. So the Bighorn bow does not increase your assassin damage by using the conversion.

ACO uses a big mathematical formula to determine damage done. The output of that formula is displayed on the screen with each hit you make. If you manipulate the inputs to the formula, the multiplication goes through the roof. It's worth some effort to understand it, with a big payoff. T7 PDM understands the damage formula better than anyone posting on KZbin. I watched his videos over and over and it paid off for me, big time. I can duplicate his damage so it's real. Let me give you the barest start: white numbers are basic damage. Yellow numbers indicate critical damage. You want yellow numbers. If you have 50% Crit Chance, your numbers will be yellow half the time. Once you have 100% Critical Hit Chance, your numbers will always be yellow and be multiplied. Critical Hit Damage is a multiplier against the white basic damage. With 100% Critical Hit Damage, your white number doubles into a yellow number. Got it? Double number, double damage. Following T7's advice, I now have 500% Critical Hit Damage with every hit I make. This bow adds another 160% on top of that. Damage with Swords multiplies 130% on top of that.

@@daffy_tech7700 You should go for Warrior damage directly. Unused Other damage types can be converted of course to increase it, but you have 1 less legendary engraving slot, the bow will need 10% Crit chance most of the time.

XP farming is old news. This bow is the new hotness. If you get enough XP to raise one level, you'll be about 4% stronger and able to deal 4% more damage. With this bow, you will deal 160% more warrior damage and (in my case) 500% more Hunter damage. Off the hook.

I confirm this works on PC. Equipping this rare bow is equal to these two engravings 1) Multiply Warrior damage by 160%, 2) Copy Warrior damage to Hunter damage. This makes it easily the most powerful weapon and engravings in the game, more valuable than any legendary set, orichalcum, or Adamantine weapon. No change to Assassin damage. I downloaded the Bighorn Bow for 150 Helix credits then used it on a spear build with the Red Isu spear and the Spartan Javelin. It works fine, with 100% melee resistance. I can use the Falx engraving and not get killed. Everyone download the Bighorn Bow before it gets nerfed. My Hunter Damage shows 28,000 although buffed by the 6495 DPS of this bow is actually equal to my Warrior Damage (169,000), also buffed by the bow. The Hunter Damage shows differently from Warrior Damage but they act as if the same. I learned from T7 PDM how to optimize other factors: Crit chance = 99%, Crit Damage = 460%, Damage with Spears = 132%, Warrior Damage = 305%, Falx enabled. The bow's effect also works on a sword build. I used to get 500k damage on a light attack using a spear, now it's 750k. Regular arrows were weak and it took several hits to take out a soldier, now it's one-body-shot kills them every time.

The damage increase is in the same range of 250% from the Yummines, but you can still use engravings. 60% might irritate people,, it is actually multiplied by 1.6.

@@T7PDM I fixed my entry to say 160%. Thanks for the precision. BTW, I read another Odyssey-famous poster "...Strider" who was asked about this glitch. He said it wasn't much. I disagree, this is the biggest weapon upgrade at any price. I hope Ubi doesn't nerf it and realistically, they might choose not to nerf. Instead, this one weapon could revitalize interest in ACO. Then they could build and sell more DLC for it.

There is something going on which stops this glitch from working bellow level 15. Anyone knows what it is? Is it somehow linked with having a 2nd melee weapon? Or maybe with some other ability? I had a save at level 15 where it clearly works. Then I have another save at level 13 where it does nothing. Interesting…..obviously people at higher levels always have whatever it takes for it to work. But it could be why some people say they cant work with it. It may be linked with something.

You need to have two melee weapons, it only increases the left one, just equip the bow, make sure you selected the correct weapon. The game will scale your existing damage by a factor of 1.6, from 10k it will increase to 16k, from 100k to 160k etc... from 1 million to 1.6 million. It does not suddenly give you millions out of ten thousand damage. it depends how good your build is. Check out the Glitch warrior build video for more info about the build.

​@@Tudoricu.Cristian I confirm that. The Hunter damage does not appear to increase in the Inventory numbers, however there's a massive Hunter increase in effect. Whatever your Warrior damage number is, that gets transferred to Hunter damage. If you engrave "Apply 50% of Warrior damage to All damage", it buffs Hunter and Assassin more. So using this bow should be combined with purely Warrior enhancements, as they will transfer. This makes a higher Hunter effect than I've ever been able to build with pure Hunter weapons and engravings. For example, you can stand on top of a quarry and hit every soldier with one regular arrow. You can go into a conquest battle, select an 8-arrow multi-shot. Five clicks later, 1/3 of the enemy are wiped. Cultists and mercenaries take 2-3 regular arrows. Krokottas the Hyena, 3 regular arrows.

You can replace it with 30% all damage since you have plenty of damage with this glitch anyway. The glitch is roughly equal to 250% damage increase but you can still use abilities.

I agree and backed off after using the Falx in the past because I died so quickly. Now with the Spartan Javelin's 30% melee resistance along with other armor, I have 100% melee resistance. I can walk into a conquest battle and take zero damage. But melee isn't everything. It protects against sword/axe/spear hits and animal (bear, wolf, dog) attacks. It does not protect against snake bites or arrows. I found that two arrow hits would still kill me unless I used a Heal. So I added 20% health in one engraving and put the "ISU enhanced" on my helmet. Plus I put some Ability points on "Health restored with Damage Done". I haven't died since and still have 500% Crit Damage, 300% Warrior, 99% Crit Chance, 130% Sword damage. My build is almost identical to his. I owe it all to T7 PDM, copying his selections and engravings after watching his videos repeatedly. He understands the damage equation better than anyone and is able to explain it clearly.

Yea...what he said. When you fire an arrow while this bow is on, the game calculates the arrow damage using the Warrior Damage stat instead of the Hunter Damage stat. It'll turn any warrior build into a warrior/hunter hybrid. And at the same time, boost the heck out of yoyr warrior damage. This bpw is amazing lol

You can balance your assassin damage by engraving "Apply 50% of Warrior Damage to All Damage". The bow increases Warrior and Hunter damage. The engraving will transfer other Warrior bonus engravings (if you have them) to increase Hunter and Assassin damage. T2 PDM will have the precise calculations but subjectively, my Assassin damage improved after this "Apply 50%... " engraving.

@@RsBobomen I agree with you. My statement was poorly worded so I re-wrote it to be closer to your answer. My point was that to balance the big improvements this bow makes to Warrior and Hunter, the "Convert 50%..." engraving will buff Assassin. Maybe I'm wrong but Assassin seems stronger after that engraving. For example, in Elysium a straight assassination (no Rush or Critical) kills Kolossi every time. It kills about half the mercenaries but then one sword swipe finishes them off.

Dude if you equip bandit legendary set and engrave them with crit chance and crit damage and then engrave your best weapon for assassin damage with "100% damage but health -75%" ,then you can most of the times easily one shot even mercenaries!! That's crazy

It does not affect your health. And it is working as usual for everyone. You used the falx of Olympos engraving somewhere on your gear.

The Bighorn bow bugs the Overpower Hunter ability for some reason, so that it deals very little damage. It Crits, but it is very low. Much lower than with a normal bow. So it affects it to drastically reduce the damage for that ability. So I recommend to spend only 1 point to unlock Ghost arrows, or nothing at all.

It adds its own DPS to your left melee weapon, so you have to upgrade it.

You have to use the correct melee weapon, the damage is only increased for one, in the invetory it is the left, ingame it is the right one. And make a proper build like the one I have shown at the end of the video. With level 39 your are a bit too low, you have to make a 100% crit build, at level 50 or above. It increaes your damage by a factor of 1.6, if you are hitting tens of thousands, then you will add tens of thousands. It is of course depending on your level. If you are hitting millions it will add millions, it will not suddenly add millions to your thousands.

Its a Helix store item. Check your ship, you may have it already, or go to the owned tab in the store, you may need to claim it. You can not dismantle or sell it.

You are one of the people that have equipped the wrong weapon, you have to use the one with the higher damage value, or you have not unlocked dual weapons yet, or you do not understand that you will not suddenly get millions out of 10k damage. The damage you curretnly deal is multiplied by a factor of 1.6, so when you deal 10k damage you get 16k, when you deal 1 million you get 1.6 million. Also this video explains it better and even more detailed: kzbin.info/www/bejne/np3MkqqJltmmias The glitch also affect your hunter damage. The game uses the same value as your hunter damage and the hunter value in the inventory is incorrect, meaning, when you have 100k warrior damage you also have 100k hunter damage, even if iit is not shown in your inventory. The item is bugged it combines the damage of your bow and your left weapon for each. So when you have selected the melee weapon with the higher value, you will also see a significant damage increase for your arrows.

There was no update and it works. Your damage will be multiplied with 1.6. If you deal hundred thousands, you will get hundred thousands, if you deal millions, you will get millions, out of it. As long as the version is 1.5.3 it works. Make sure you select the correct weapon, dude.

The Hunter damage value is displayed incorectly after equipping the bow. The bow will use your warrior damage instead. You have to select the correct weapon, when you shoot your arows, than it also uses the warrior damage. Depending on which melee weapon is selected your arrows will use that one aswell. Its explained in the other video about the hunter damage.

First of all, the blade of yumminess is only for noobs or for purists, that dont want to use abilities. That bow is giving you the same damage but you can still use all your abilities. And with abilities you will always deal much more damage than with the blade. You get a proportinate increase depending on your level. Whatever damage you deal, it is multioplied by 1.6. if you deal only ten thousands, math tells us you will get 16 thousand. if you deal a million you will get 1.6 million. Its that simple. Accept as much contracts as posible, they are repetitive, you can get multiple very similar and you only have to do it once. Especially naval contracts are very repetitive. If you have Atlantis, these quest yield more XP, so you can do that first.

Moore 2498 Just keep it in your build and focus on obtaining Enchantments for the bow (focus on the CRIT chance ones) and levelling up so you can increase the DPS of the bow. Be warned though, after you’ve equipped this bow you’ll have to pay close attention to what items you use as it could effect your warrior and hunter damage negatively, which in turn weaken the effects of the bow. Also if you feel like you’ll want to change the bow over be aware that you’ll lose all of the warrior damage from the left hand slot of your build if you do. If you max this thing out though it’s a beast of a damage boost to have later on in the game trust me. Oh also be picky with the weapon you choose to have in your left hand slot as again this greatly effects the damage out put.

It works everywhere, dude. Just equip the bow and use the correct weapon! Multiplied by 1.6 means you get 16000 out of 10.000 or 1.6 million out of 1 million. It multiplis the damage you have at the moment by this factor. it does not give you millions out of ten thousand. And you have to select the correct melee weapon, with the high value. You need to have dual melee weapons unlocked for it.

Just copying the pinned comment for you: If you do not see a damage increase, make sure you select the correct weapon, the one with the higher damage value, when you attack. Reload your inventory to see the higher value. The game increases your warrior damage by a factor of 1.6, if you deal only hundred thousands, you will get a couple of hundred thousands more, it does not suddenly give you millions on a very low level, the effect gets bigger the more damage you deal, it grows with your level.

You need two melee weapons, unlocked at level 14. Because it only amplifies your left melee weapon. It transfers the bow DPS to your left melee weapon. When you deal 1000 damage you get 1600, when you deal 100k you get 160k, when you deal a 1 million, you get 1.6 million. It scales with your level. The fault is on your side, it works for everybody.

Let me offer you a strategy for the early game, Aryan. I was the same in the early game, frustrated by getting killed so much. Each level gives your character more strength when hitting and more defense, even with the same equipment. So I stopped attempting to complete the quests and focused on gaining experience and levels. I galloped my horse around the entire map, sailed the boat everywhere, synchronized each fast travel point, did only quests that made deliveries, and resolved every question mark. No combat, just levelling up. That gave me about 15 levels at least. Then I enhanced my equipment by running the parapet walls of Tegea, Athens, and Argos. The soldiers don't need to be killed, just run past them and collect weapons from their racks. Sort them out later, keeping some and selling others. Then I used a website to find and resolve Ainigmata Ostraka. Each one gives a buff to some engraving. Then I found the Poseidon Trident which allows breathing underwater. With that, I hit all the underwater treasure sites without stress of drowning. When all this was done my confidence was back, my character had level 40 and my equipment was all purple (Epic) with significantly more power and armor. Combat was far, far easier and I resumed the main thread of the game.

Go to Thebes in Beoetia, loot the wall, sell, dismantle. Do quests with gold xp icon (this is obvious). Explore all toombs (free ability points). Mercenaries, leaders an polemarchs have big cash on them. Go check out message boards around the map, you can get multiple quests with same objective. Once I had 7 quests where I should loot 3 athenian treasures....easy million xp 😁. Easy treasure steals: Macedonia fort, Phokis fort, Messara fort, Messenia fort, Lokris fort...maybe Beoetia, if you wait for a chance.

Its working, please read the first comment. The bow amplifies your left warrior damage value by a factor of 1.6 so whatever damage you had, is multiplied by 1.6, when you equip the bow. You have to have dual melee weapons unlocked. Use the correct weapon for your attack, close and reopen the inventory and the numbers are recalculated by the game engine. Also do not expect millions out of nowhere, if you deal 10k you get 16k, if you deal a million, you get 1.6 million. Its a straight factor of 1.6 times more damage to whatever you actually deal for your left melee weapon. And it also uses this value as your hunter damage, which means your arrows will also be much stronger with this. There is an aditional video for it.
