The pyramids was from old world, crazy cause people didn’t know cause the tombs was already abandoned, AC was during the cleopatra n Julius caesar era, n that fucced egypt up all the way because the romans took the land and stole artifacts, just like the game, i love AC all of them have my mind blown with history

Sadly we have no records of how the Library of Alexandria looked like. There have been many iterations over the centuries, but no useful records remain to create a reconstruction, so the game tries its best to make something that would relate with the period. The library had hundreds of thousand of scrolls and writings, usually originals. At one point there was a law that any boat arriving the port had to be searched for books, and every book found was copied by the scribes of Alexandria, then the copy was send back to the owner, but the original was kept in the Great Library. Unfortunately so much was lost! Imagine all the great Greek plays that we'll never know about, or the works of great philosophers who are now only known by quotes from others!

@@prigual2901 ye, Alexandria is sadly far from being the only case of a great library being destroyed, hell the Assassin's Creed series is loosely based on a real life organization we know very little about since there library was burned when they were defeated by the mongol empire

They did phenomenal job with the game to create authentic ancient Egypt. The game is easily the best way to experience the ancient Egypt. Still I don't quite get why they still changed some minor things like the character inside the wall 01:47 with the same amount of job they could have done it the the way it is. But still amazing looking reconstruction.

It is the temple of Thoth at Hermopolis Magna. Abu Simbel is located in Lower Nubia, south of Aswan which is in Upper Egypt. This whole game is Lower Egypt. Abu Simbel is even further south than Thebes (Waset) in the DLC

That is definitely not how you spell the word SPHINX... The PYRAMIDS of Giza (the name of the whole complex) is the Pyramid of Khufu, "Abu Simbel's temples" is The Great Temple of Abu Simbel, "Sneferu Bent Pyramid" is JUST the Bent Pyramid...
