Just a smooth and very well built game. Idk why I had no bugs. The only bug I have is sequence 3 not popping its achievement on completion because though I don't remember, I must have lost internet or the services went down by the time I finished sequence 3

Looking back on it now, Unity wasn’t actually that bad of a game. Sure it had it’s bugs and repetitive missions (even though the first AC had repetitive missions), but despite those 2 things, Unity was actually pretty awesome and beautiful.

Unity was such a good game that I bought a PS4 just for it and I was too young at the time so I had to return it and I bought my PS4 2 years later with the game untouched waiting for the day to play it again and believe me even though I had its issues it was one of the best games I've ever played I thought it had so much potential!

@@comiluciano Looks are nice but the performance was shit, the main campaign was rushed, there were and still are many bugs, some pretty severe and the balancing in the endgame was terrible for a triple A title. And I love this game mind you. I just wish that it could get a second chance to become the masterpiece the world saw in it and not just a game with some nice graphics but not a punchline. For example, Mafia 3, great story, terrible (relativley) performance, too repetitive and graphics that looked dated due to bad filters at the release (exapt the cutscenes) Compare that to Unity, great graphics yes but the gameplay was lacking and could have been soooo much better (remember the gameplay trailers? That was ambitious) and the thing is, that all this is still there, collecting dust as an idea. Noone knows how close the studio could have gotten but this game could have been what is now the Witcher Wild Hunt 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2. A game changer, so ambitious and so big that it is remembered by all. There is a very good 45 minute review 'why I am glad I gave AC a second try' or something like that - watch it. It's pretty much how everyone who loves this game feels about it.

I just think that the franchise lost itself because it never really new where it stood, it never was a really incredibly stealth game because the tension simply was lacking if you ask me (as well as not having decent tools), the combat was always a bit off and then it shifted to becoming more of a historical far cry, finally it had an open world but now it was an RPG with stealty mechanics. A jack of all trades but a master of none. In Unity we saw the spark of what a good game was and in origins they finally got the combat right and improved on the story - but they never seemed to be able to do both. Since Assassins Creed 2 it always had this problem to try and live up to a beloved memory and yet not really understanding itself at the same time and therefore failing just a little bit short of greatness. You see it really well, when you compare how impressive the world and the visual have become but how they struggled to decide what they wanted to be for their customers - an historical brawler with a few stealth sections or an historical stealth game with the ability to fight in the streets. They never got both right at the same time and they also rarlery improved what had already existed. The rope dart for example, such a fun tool but they just left it out. No traps you can lay, not enough interaction with the environment, too little options to control enemy movment. And the combat always was unbalanced and it's nothing that's extremely hard to get right because Souls like games for example can do it every game. Unity and Syndicate are both so simular in what they hoped to do with of cause Syndicate being the blend yet far better working one and yet with Origins they started to shift away and I hoped that they would take the time to really make the stealth part feel as good as the fighting and it just didn't happen in Odyssey. Such a weird thing because it's not on the management - its on not beingm sure what it wants to be. Inn the end even I am not sure anymore what I really want from them.

I recently picked up Odyssey after playing a little of Unity for a nostalgia trip. Unity is a master piece... wtf is Odyssey? It's fun but it's absolutely a garbage AC game. Level system?
