If you can go with the TMW gusset kit. It's $100 more but the welds are longer., the plates are beefier, & it came painted. Gr8 video Bro! Btw... I work at a Can-Am dealerhip as a parts counter guy... No X3 has egged holes from factory. Within the first hundred mild miles they will egg. That is why we (the sales guys) really push gusset kits when making X3 sales. More so than any other add-on accessory

Good video! It is preferred to just have 2 people slide the lower a arms onto those stationary bolts on the bottom. I’ve never really seen anyone cut the bracket but I guess it worked. Lol

I cut that bottom bracket, what a pain without a body saw but i did it. Now bolts slide back allowing you to drop the arm instead of mass disassembly just to replace lower arm.

Looking good as always brotha. I’ve been wanting to do this mod but I’m terrified cutting into my new machine lol. As for the backing plate, totally makes sense it would go on back side for more strength and rigidity for the bolt. Ride safe man. Next upgrade...hcr trailing and control arms 😝

The other video that’s out there for this kit, they put that plate on the outside! 😳 which doesn’t make since because when you remove those factory bolts they are attached to a similar plate. I put TMWs gusset kit on mine best investment ever it’s not hard at all just takes time and patience 👌🏻 all you need is shock therapy sway links and front end will be nice and tough 💪🏻

Does the stock bumper bolt to the front of the gusset? Seems like the bumper sits a little awkward on the gusset.

I was about to pull the wallet out and go buy a 2020 X3...........................BUT, the Ford F350 out in the driveway and the Z06 in the garage seem built to do what intended to do. Does anyone sell one of these UTV's that is already built and does not need an additional wallet and tool chest to make right?????? I want to buy it and go, not buy it and start replacing the tin the factory build it with. Scary as f..k if you ask me. I just have never seen a video showing replacing parts on the 1 ton....................hey if you don't want it to fall apart before you tow a trailer, you better..............................do this. OR, before you go over 130mph or take a corner in the ZO6 you better get new shocks or better sway bars. For what I think these UTV's cost, based on what you are getting, something does not add up. Can Am made in China maybe? Anyone? Serious question, not knocking anyone or even Can Am. Kinda down in the dumps over watching the additional $$$$$$ needed. Showing those ob long holes is not just a guy wanting to blow money replacing stuff. This all looks completely legit, and my point is for $29,000.00 it should be a GT500 or a Z06 in terms of coming ready to ride the rough stuff from where ever it was made. I read Polaris is plastic, Can Am is metal, but I just cooked a brisket and the tin foil I wrapped it in was also metal...........................HELP me.
