I really liked the narrative of VM fighting the first map as hard as they did because of how "rusty" they would be. They all were ready to jump into the fight immediately. Kind of shows a bit of cockiness, but also a bit of "oh shit we really can't screw this up, leave no stone unturned" vibe to the battle.

36:20 I was kinda hoping Robbie might play as Verin. It's like another Cerkonos-situation which would give Robbie a place to start with and give him more room to develop his own interpretation of the character. But Robbie did mention he might not play for M9 so I'll try not to keep my hopes up 😅 (Always love your discussions with CR. You're doing fantastic, lads!)

Have to say that I loved seeing Vox Machina back together at the table. It was great seeing how much fun the players were having, and I completely agree with Blake that it was a way of using up some of their resources with that combat, but also a way for them to familiarize themselves with really complex level 20 characters, which is why I kind of doubt that they keep switching back-and-forth.

As far as I’m aware, all resurrection spells in 5e specify they don’t work on characters that die of old age, so it probably wouldn’t work on Chetney if Travis rolls triple 0s again..

I’m bummed.. I just can’t engage with the show anymore, it bores me. I think it’s mostly just burnout, after watching so many hours of CR, I’m just burnt. I also feel like theres elements of the pacing and CRs meta agendas that have led to the show jumping the shark, it’s all gotten a bit convoluted. Sorry to vent here, but I do love and rely on y’all’s redcaps. And I have nothing but respect for the cast and crew … just processing it all.
