Bajaj rickshaw assembly unit in Afghanistan...Great as such bajaj rickshaws are tough and rocksolid to be used for decades. I have seen some even 35 years old under driver seat engines models still working. Now a days rear engines are only ones they manufacture.

This is three-wheeler from Indian company Bajaj Auto! See the emblem in the front. It says "RE" which stands for the three-wheeler with Rear Engine ! Further at the back on the right you can see the sticker "Twin Spark". This is a patented technology of Bajaj Auto! In the end, they stick the sticker with the name "Bajaj" on rear window! Wonder how these fellows got this three wheeler in knocked-down condition! These three wheelers are export to many countries from India!

I've been a big fan of three-wheeled vehicles like these since I saw them on You Tube. Here in the U.S. we have golf cart type vehicles and ATVs, but I haven't seen anything like this here yet. The workers who assemble the vehicle should respect the rights of the buyers. Buyers have the right to have the vehicle they purchase in excellent condition the first time they receive their goods.

The video is shot in Afghanistan. It is an Indian Rickshaw/Tuk Tuk. The uploader is Pakistani guy. Pakistan should export its own Rickshaw/Tuk Tuk To Afghanistan as well. Sazgar Rickshaw Company is a big Pakistani Rickshaw Manufacturer, among many others. Also Pakistani Rickshaws use Motorbike derived, much more powerful Tuk Tuks also.

Many people are saying it is Bajaj. Bajaj RE was meant to be sabotage vehicle. The three wheeler with engine under driver seat was the Indian version of Scammell Scarab. A mini version with trailer. You can still see it in old bamboo trading places. Putting engine on rear axle was biggest and deliberate sabotage of low cost Indian trailer vehicle.

Rightly said, this is afganistan. They import Bajaj Autorickshaws or Tuk tuk, what ever you may like calling them. This is how direct import kits look like. Just for information, this is indigenously desigined and manufactured. That means engine, chassis and add ons. The engine here is EU6 compliant, 2 cyl vertical geometry Petrol engine for less vibration. AND most importantly its not Piaggio. Piaggio Ape is seperate brand which is still sold in India in very high numbers but Only in Diesel ( keeping electric 2w descision aside). Bajaj is the world largest producer of 3 wheels with high vol of exports happing around the world i.e South America, Some East europian countries, Arab countries, asia and South east asia countries And Aus/ NZ as well. Better to have knowledge than relying on KZbin university 😂. BTW love from India to our Afgan brothers 😊
